What can I do to get the screen off the press the dot screen. I have turned off, then put finger in left hand corner while turning back on. press the dot forever and never gone any further. Help!

Did anyone else have GPS issues Monday afternoon? I had good signal strength, accuracy about 34 feet, but my location was off by about a quarter mile.

Garmin has posted nuvi 35x7 and 35x8 (GCD File) software version 4.20.

I have app. update 3.0.9.0 on my 1450. Software 6.20. I have been using Garmin Express for updates. All was good until now. I do have the 'extras' in GE. Tried out a drive this morning with voice activated. Had a hard time unselecting the mute button. Now I can't turn off the voice. When I input a "Where To' and a map is shown, I can't use the back button to make another selection.

I've tried simulating routes to see the JCV "photo realistic" view many times with no success. Just assumed they didn't bother using it in Nevada.

I have a Garmin Nuvi 360 and have added a 4 GB micro SD card that is in an adapter. I have formatted the card, but when I update maps, the Garmin Nuvi 360 doesn't recognize it and only gives me 49 a state update. I thought perhaps my adapter slide switch was locking the adapter and preventing a write, but I think that is okay. Does anybody here have any suggestions?

I have a new nuvi 2595LM. I've tried to load the costco US cvs but keep getting failures. Am I not holding my mouth right or is there some trick to loading a cvs? I downloaded the current map and OP system and the latest POI loader just fine. I download the cvs from this site, open the POI loader, tell it to label the file costco. Then when I click next it says the loading failed.

So I just realized that MapQuest is *no longer* using data from HERE (Navteq). If you look at the bottom, it now says "Portions copyright TomTom". The map looks dramatically different in my area now as well. I just wanted to let everyone know. On the plus side, theoretically you can see what data TomTom has...they use TeleAtlas right?

It seems that when I connect my GPS (1450) to Base Camp, it auto downloads into BC. There are additions and deletions that I made in BC and do not want them on my GPS until I want them on it and vice versa. Am I looking at this or doing something wrong?

I noticed an odd thing with my Garmin 2460 LMT yesterday.

Driving north on I-95 in Philadelphia there are a couple of underpasses/tunnels in the Penns Landing area. One of them is a bit longer than the other. While going through the longer one my GPS went from day mode to night mode and back to day mode when I exited the tunnel.

Hello everyone, I have a nuvi 3597 and am a very basic user when it comes to custom POIs but I did manage to load a few ( shell stations, home depot, stuff like that) and have it working and icons and custom alerts showing up and working. UNTIL map update 2014.40. After I updated the map, none of my custom POI icons or proximity alerts worked or show on the GPS. Zoom level makes no difference.

Can you deleted the core favorites, i.e Garmin USA? How?

How do I copy 'my collection' to another computer. I have setup Base Camp on my desktop and want to copy it to my laptop. I can make additions and deletions in Base Camp and want to put them on my Garmin 1450 and the laptop without making duplicates. I do have the 'yipps' when it comes to moving lots of files. Always afraid I will erase everything or make tons of twice added stuff.

Loaded in EPE last night and followed all the instructions on how to make a POI close to my home address to check out proximity alert. Great instructions easy to follow. Made POI showed up on Google and everything.Shut down computer went to bed. This morning turned on computer and get a Dynamic Link Library (DLL) error, restarted numerous times same thing.

Does anyone know the largest sd card the 7200 will take.
I believe I read somewhere it is 2 gig. That's not very big, wondering if anyone has tried a larger one.

I did a hard reset and now my GPS has me in Illinois. I am in NY. How can I change this. I have home set as a favorite, and it says it is 727 miles away.

hey can any body tell me why my garmin map jus all of a sudden gone gray?this morning all day i was using it colors was nice now tonight its gone gray the only color road i see is the main road. i am a new garmin user many thanks in advance
