Routable Aruba Map For Nuvi?

I maybe traveling to Aruba and it doesn't appear that either the N. American or S. American maps contain routable streets for Aruba. Does anyone know if there is such a thing? It appears they have maps for other islands like P.R. and Jamaica, etc.

But you can import openstreetmap.org data to your Garmin.

took less than a minute to find

No TTS I'm Sure

Question is, are they routable with TTS? Probably not. It looks like only third party vendors have this area covered as Garmin does not.

Not Really Needed

Having been there, I'd have to say that there is no reason for a Garmin on Aruba. It's a tiny island with little to see, and few roads to get to those things. You can drive every road on the island and see everything there is to see in two days. And have time left over.

Thanks

Good to know. Actually after looking at Google Maps, it doesn't look like a ton of roads. An old paper map printout would probably do just fine.

Thanks.

Routable

I just tried it, the Aruba map on Google is routable. You can use a Smartphone with Google Maps to navigate.

Caribbean

I used the free Carinnean map when I was in Aruba 8 years ago. I don't think it was routable then. If I went back I would probably just use Google Maps on my phone.

Aruba

I agree with Rebhawk. Aruba is about 6 miles wide and just under 20 miles long. I was there in 2006. I rented a car and saw all I wanted to see in less than a day. I have friends who love it, go back frequently, and even own property there, but I wasn't that taken by the place. To each his own.

St. Maarten

I haven't decided yet but if not Aruba then St. Maarten. Haven't been to either.

Map

If you have a android phone or tablet you can download this App https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mapfactor.... .The Aruba map is there for download and no data will be needed since the map is on the device.

We just got back from St. Maarten from a cruise. Mostly lots of shopping is what we seen there but beautiful scenery. Have not made Aruba yet. Maybe next cruise.

Thanks for the tip. Don't want to pay for data while roaming. These maps remind me of Sygic although Sygic doesn't cover Aruba and this does. I'll have to check it out since I have a 7" Android Tablet.

Thanks!

My Verizon phone worked on the ABC Islands. Got a text message letting me know when we got close to shore.
