Tom Tom 330s Map Zoom

Hi All,

Don't think I have posted on here before, so Hello. I have just got a new GPS, it's the Tom Tom 330s I like the 330s very much, I also have a Garmin Map76 and an AvMap for all you hams that know what that is.

I was wondering if there is any way to keep the map on the 330s zoomed out all the time. I like the 2D map- travel direction at the top setting, however when I zoom the map out so I can see more area around me, it will stay there for a bit and then zoom back in. Is there a way to make the map stay put.

I can't answer for the 330, but for my 930, it will retain the zoom level I set, for both 2D and 3D views. The exception is when it is time for a turn, then it will zoom in, but it will go back to my zoom setting once the turn is complete.
