Isn't EasyGPS one way to go around to avoid the I-cannot-get-MapSource-for-free-from-Garmin ordeal?

I have been looking at the Nuvi 680 to replace my 2720, however I can't tell if these new models have the elevation, address, heading, ETA, MPH, ect boxes on the right side of the display. Can anyone tell me if they do? I would hate to lose those.

How about separate forums for the other brands?
I currently have Magellan (2200T) and am wanting a Garmin.

There is a Garmin forum, and a NOT Garmin forum. And that's it.

I got the Garmin 350 last week & uploaded it w/ all updates (all cars) & a number of POI files. If I want to delete some of the useless stuff (i.e., cars, help files), how do I delete them?

Im looking to buy another gps. I have a garmine 330 but would like to get one that will give me trafic report.
I use this in a motor home and would like to have one that would give me the best route to drive a motor home.
They are making them smaller and I like that as well.
I do not need one that has bluetooth.

How do I delete a business that is in the GPS but has closed? And how do I add addresses?

I recently visited the philippines and used a map that I got from the internet. I was glad that I downloaded it to my sd card because it had a lot of POI's and it did get me home everytime I got lost. I used a garmin c330. I surprised my brother who lives there but did not know the map exists. I loaded it to his Garmin quest without any problems.

How about adding some seasoning to this "super-geeky" community by sharing hilarious stories, with our little gizmos as main characters?
Personally, I don't have any stories (yet!) but I barely can wait to read some!

Garmin say you can put custom pois on an sd card for the c330 idid but still can not get them to work any help would be appreciated Thanks

Do you guys know of a way to view current latitude/longetude on the C330 screen? I want to be able to record that info for posting on this site. My truck sees over 3k miles a week. Thats a lotta POIs.

I have tried to research this topic by searching the various discussions on this site but come away confused. I have a school zone POI named Schools@30.cve, which I have saved in my Speed folder. I also have redlight POI nemed Redlight Camera.cvs, which I have saved in my Redlight folder. My gps is a nuvi 360.

I placed some mp3 and jpg files on my 4gb storage card of my 680, as well as some gpi or tour files. The mp3 files show up when I pull up the mp3 player and the jpg files show up when I bring up the pictures viewer but I can find nowhere that the gpi or tour files can be found. Perhaps I should have stored them on the internal storage under 'extras'.

I don't think this would be a recommended use for the redlight POI files:
