Idahs Activities

Ralphy1, I live in Utah and go to Idaho alot during the year. Your POI about activities is good but one comment, I think it would be more helpful if yu had it sorted by month so someone could just look at the months then plan ways to enjoy the fun. Not trying to be criticul the same goes for your one about Calf. Still good work I know these is alot of time envolved.

Miss POI is stationed in

Miss POI is stationed in Boise Idaho, let me know if you are ever in town, we can always do lunch;)

Miss POI

Sorting

Thanks for your comment John, I agree that timing the POIs would be handy. To do that I would need to put them in 12 different files, (I think). Which would entail changing the files each month in your GPSr, or having to click past a lot of files in your custom poi list. It's a good idea and I'll see what I can do.

Idaho

Miss POI, sounds good we are there two or three times a year, stay at the rv park out by the airport.

Sorting

Thanks, it was just a thought. When I done the KOA one for Utah I just started at the top of the state and went down but it isn't quite the same as the one your have.

Sorting

John - I've started implementing your suggestion, I think I will make 12 files (by month) for Western Fairs and Festivals, they will be grouped by state so that anyone concerned with POI file size could easily delete any state they don't want.

Sorting

Ralph1, sounds good but didn't mean for you to create additonal work for your self. I think a lot of foks from the west may be more interested as with the gas prices could plan a trip and stay in one place and see two or three different city on one trip.

More Work

Not a problem John, the more I work on it, the more I appreciate your input. BTW, Utah is coming, hope you can help me with some that I miss. Many small town functions are not easy to find on the internet.

activities

Will try if I can just let me know which towns or city's you need.

Just a quick question....

Are you working your way toward us, or isn't Colorado in the west any more? wink I was just perusing the POI listings, and Wyoming is there, New Mexico is there, but Colorado which is right in between them, seems to be missing. Not a big deal, just curious. smile

This is a site to check if you are moving this way...
