Tim Hortons in GTA

I have my gps set up for a 1/4 mile alert for Tim Hortons. Last night I went to Toronto for the Sabres/Leafs game and realized that while in Toronto, that alert was a bad thing. The GPS never stopped beeping. It did not take me long to turn off the alerts.

Don't know what a Tim Horton

Don't know what a Tim Horton is, but I did the same for Starbucks........Boy I hurried home to take off the alert.

Run the loader in manual

Run the loader in manual mode and set it for 2640 feet.

The quick and easy way is to put redlight in the title (timhortons_redlight.csv). You can also run the poi loader in manual and set your distance.

There has to be an irony about setting a gps alert to help you win a gps smile

pondering this

Alerts

In Toronto you can wear out your speakers by setting the Tim Hortons alert for 1/4 mile LOL

tim hortons POI

I have a Tom Tom but gave it to my wife and got a nuvi 650. The Tom Tom would show tim hortons as I drove by buy my 650 won't? It does show them if I put them in as a favorite but that is it. If not in as a favorite I won't see it on the map. How do you people put POI's so they will show up as you drive upon them and also alert you of up coming POI? I would appreciate this as I am just learning this unit.

DOH...donuts!

Nope, they have 3,257 locations systemwide! And they just signed an agreement with Tops Friendly Markets (based in Buffalo) to supply them with their product.
