Does anyone know if there’s a battery available, for the Nüvi 880, with a higher capacity, then the stock battery that ships with the unit?

The battery life of the Nüvi 880, is rated at only 4 hours...

I am specifically looking for "The Great Depression" documentary. I heard it on the car radio a long time back, and it was very close to come of today's events. Thanks

I am getting reports from file managers letting me know that they are getting emails requesting that their coordinates be changed because they are a bit off.

The difference being only a few feet, front of the store or in the street versus in the parking lot.

How can i make buddy and how does it help?

I am wondering what is special about the speed & redlight POI's that enable them to pop up on my Garmin 660 with a red warning bar at the top of the display. None of the other POI's such as rest areas show up automatically as do the speed & redlight files. If you can tell me what makes this happen, how can I modify other POI's to bring up an alert automatically when I am approaching the POI.

I have garmin, magellan gps units that I have install the red light cameras on, I want to purchase a navigon 7100 gps, has anyone loaded the red light cameras on one of this brands gps.

Thought some of you might want to take part in this.

Hello everyone, I'm new to this site as well as new to using GPS devices. My first device is a Garmin c510 which I bought "refurbished". It has worked great for me so far. I have even been able to install [from this site] a customised POI file. Aren't I clever! The POI was a listing of state parks. It installed just fine with no problems at all, using the POI Loader from Garmin.

I have run a few red lights in Washington, DC recently, that my TomTOM showed had cameras. Anyone gotten tickets sent to them in the mail before?

the voice acctivation keeps going off on my tom tom which is very frustrating

For all you GPSers that use more than one system, the Service Pack 1 just released for Topo 7 by Delorme adds support for POI-Factory specifically by supporting the import of Garmin formatted .csv files as Draw Layers.

Is there a POI file for wi-fi hotspots?

I had asked if there were any threads concerning how to request features on this website. I hadn’t found any threads for this purpose but Motorcycle Mama said this is the place, so I’ll start the thread here.

I really like this site because there is so much information available and so many knowledgeable people here. Another thing that amazes me is there aren’t any ads?!

Intersting event this morning-I was using my daughter's computer and typed into Google "poi factory" (no quotes in the original search). Google popped up with a warning telling me my query looked like an automated entry and asked me to type in a code to continue. I repeated the entry, same result. I assume it is the letters "poi".

Is there a thread where we can post new site features or see what features have already been requested? My searches have not turned up such a thread or page for this.

There are several things I think would make this great site more user friendly but I don't want to fill Miss Poi's inbox with requests that they have already gotten or are working on already.

Is there any advice when using pigtones or is it scam or is it legit.????
