bobcat program help

So I couldn't find a link for the download of MapSource. I just found the update on Garmin's website. For future reference I am using a Mac. So I downloaded bobcat.
My problem with bobcat is that the maps arn't detailed enough.
They do just large major streets. I found the lat. and long. on the corner of the street and typed it in bobcat (first i clicked waypoint tool, clicked anywhere, and then in the advanced section I typed in the correct lat. and long.) it wouldnt accept what I typed in.
What should I do?

i need like a 101 with this.

i need like a 101 with this. I go to garmin's website and look at their guide to speed warning and such. They always are talking about entering stuff in manual mode but I cant seem to find any information on "manual mode"

If I just keep contributing to this site and download the Speed cameras and Red light cameras POI's will I have to edit them to enter speed information and proximity alert?

Pull up poiloader and click

Pull up poiloader and click on help.Lots of info on manual mode and alerts.

I just downloaded POILoader

I just downloaded POILoader from garmin and it is asking me to select a folder where the data files can be found. What do I press?

Also, there is no help option available right now.

The very first screen that comes up you will see on bottom right the help key.Click on it.Then click index at top of screen.

do i need to edit the POI for speed cameras you get off this site to alert me when im in the area? proximity alert?

Redlight and Speed cameras

Redlight and Speed cameras alerts are built into the file.You don't have to do anything to get the alerts.If you want to make a change you can run poiloader in manual mode to make what change you want.I have not found a need to change mine.

Select folder

Also, there is no help option available right now.

Select the main folder for your custom pois not the subfolders.
