880 and microSD card problem...
Hi All,
I bought two 8gb microSD cards for my new Nuvi 880. My problem is that one microSD card loads properly and one card won't.
The card that won't mount tries to load (the sand timer keeps turning upside down) and at some point, the screen reverts to the Garmin logo and that's where it stays until I turn the unit off.

Texting?
Just read that they will have a new TEXTING while driving law in California. Don't get me wrong, I'm in favor of it, but how can Law Enforcement tell if you are texting dialing a number?

Newbie
I just signed up for the POI Factory. This sure seems like a good idea.
I use my Garmin 60CX for Geocaching, Jeeping, hiking and on my motorcycle trips. I keep track of my waypoints with Mapsource and ExpertGPS.

Icons.
I just uploaded a school zones file to the site.Should i have uploaded an icon the same time or do i just upload one after i uploaded the file? This is my first time uploading a file by the way..lol.

Will This Work?
I have found a web site with tons of old radio shows, like Amos & Andy 1928, music, ect. They are all Mp3's. I know, or think the music will work in the 660, but will the audio that's also on Mp3's play too. A singer, which is audio on Mp3 will, so wouldn't the radio show work too? I'm hoping somebody knows, or has tried it. I don't want to download something and it not play.

Zip Code POI
I was looking at the most popular list of POI's and I saw one with Zip Codes. How exactly are you supposed to use a zip code POI in a GPS? As you drive around will it tell you that you have entered a new zip code and what is the benefit to that? Thanks

BlackBerry Storm, yet another taker on the iPhone
iBerry? Perhaps... Too bad Wi-Fi will not be offered. Not surprising from Verizon though. They will probably block users from installing 3rd party GPS applications as well.

Brochure
Is there a place on this site that has an example brochure that I can copy? I'm not good with words, but would like to print brochures to post in truck stops about POI Factory. Specifically pointing to my files, but also letting drivers know about the whole site. I do know how to make the brochure using MS Word, but it's the wording I need help with.

How do I upload photos in my "new topic"?
Unlike other forums that I belong too. I don't see an upload choice after I create a new topic. How do you upload pics? Or why is this not an option? I find photos, especially in the "how to" and "installation" type very helpful. A little help please.

This is the place to talk about things that are not gps related, you can discuss whatever you would like, as long as it is clean. Remember we have families that have their children involved in the GPS fun and we don't want to make parents feel uncomfortable when their children ask what that word means.

file extensions
I'd like to know, it's probably here on the site somewhere, why some posts have two file extensions. GPX and csv I think are the two.
Is one better than the other for my Nuvi 650?

AOL survey
I don't use AOL as my electronics guide, but for those who are interested, this is a paste from their GPS survey. The next nine include HP, TomTom, Magellen etc but I don't remember in what order they are ranked. If anyone cares I would be willing to go back and check for you.
