Installing Addtional Maps - BaseCamp, MapSource, MapInstall
I'm confused concerning the most appropriate method for adding additional maps to an SD card since my Nuvi 650 is out-of-space. I successfully did a limited update for the east coast, but I am now looking into installing the rest of the US and Canada onto the SD card.
How to do this is covered in the following post:

Alert sound removal

It looks like the demise of stand-alone GPSs is a little premature. AT&T, T-Moble as well as others are starting to take action to reduce their network data loads.

So don't throw away your old GPS just yet, it might end up being the only usable navigation device you have left.

Poi-Factory Smartphone App
As most of us are moving away from our desktop/laptop and using more and more smartphones/tablets, I'm wondering, if poi factory has anything in the works to create such an app?

Great site for information.
This is great site for information on how to use and load Custom POI. I was reading a lot of post and they were a great help in loading my Custom POI. Comments on using manual setting was a great help. All the people on this sight are helpful and interested in helping solve your problem. Thanks for all your help.

New Speed Camera
A new speed camera was activated today in Prince George's County, MD. It was announced on local TV news.
The location is near the Benjamin Tasker Elementary School at the intersection of Kenhill Drive & Fair Lane.
MD is making quite an income in this way. Their list of speed cameras grow by the week.
Hope this location will find it's way into the Speed Camera database.
