Too many to list, but my favorite is the TomTom XXL 550 TM with lifetime traffic and maps for $170 AIR.
There's also a nuvi 255 with lifetime maps for $120 which puts it about $35 more than Amazon (which doesn't throw in lifetime maps . . .).
For the first time in forever, the Texas Rangers are in the Pennant Race and one game from the World Series to boot!
Of course that one game is a pretty big stumbling block when the other team is the NY Yankees, but maybe we can pull it off.
Does anyone know any thing about this new Garmin unit Nulink 1695 besides what has been on the web for months now.Any better price than Crutchfields $399.00 Any one see any user reviews.
Something new is about to launch. Escort, famous for their top of the line radar/laser detectors has melded that technology with GPS. They're calling it the Passport IQ. Check it out: http://www.escortradar.com/iq/?utm_source=EmailLabs&utm_medi...

Which GPS maker has a better routing engine?

I was thinking that October would be the month for the next quarterly update.
This week we are recognizing Mars_hall for his contribution of Pawn Shops and Jewelry Exchanges files.
I love shopping at Pawn shops, it is like a treasure hunt.
Thank you so much for these wonderful additions to the catalog.
This is the place to talk about things that are not gps related.
This thread will be closed on Monday and a new one will be opened.

Why .....do drugstores make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front.
Why .....do people order double cheeseburgers, large fries, and a diet coke.
Why ....do banks leave both doors open and then chain the pens to the counters.
Is there a website that will send the results of a phone directory lookup to my GPS.
I can look up a business in Google maps and send the name, address, phone and GPS location to my Nuvi saved as a "Favorite".
I would like to be able to do something similar for residential searches. e.g. "White Pages"
I have a Garmin Nuvi 5000, and a TomTom GO 720. I like the estimated arrival time on these GPS, but the TomTom is very inaccurate, and totally worthless. If I take a normal 2 hour trip the TomTom starts out estimating it at about 4 hours.
I'm using win. xp and can't see the file extensions. I know I have to do something on the control panel but I can't remember what. (Senior Moment)Can anybody help?
Not to be out-done by Walmart...
All the Chilean miners got out after 70 days. All healthy (as can be expected) as well.
Blessings to them, and their families!
