Just when some have figured out how to keep track of Cameras and speed traps are the Brits have come up with Satellite tracking
I'm new here so a few questions:
1. Where does the location data (lat, lon) come from? I ask because I'm an RVer and have made files for Flying J, TA, Petro, and Pilot. It ain't easy, and I appreciate the effort.
Makes one wonder where Toyota got its programmers?
It's either that or they are the same ones responsible for the routing engines in our units.
KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A class action lawsuit filed in chancery court challenges Knoxville's red light ordinance for a three year period.
The attorney in the case, Robert Pryor, argues that the city's ordinance violated the state constitution from February 1, 2005, when Knoxville passed its ordinance, through July 1, 2008.
I have been thinking about this lately because I have been using my Garmin Nuvifone G60 as both a cell phone and GPS automobile navigator for the past several months now. Prior to that the Garmin StreetPilot 2730 was my day to day GPS workhorse. With the 2730 I would find myself looking at Custom POI files that I had downloaded for gas stations, restaurants, stores, etc.
Does anyone know if the newly constructed exchange on I95 and the Baltimore Beltway have been updated in the new versions for our GPS?

I have created a new FAQ page that describes POI Factory’s guidelines for the forums. There is a link to the FAQ below.
I decided to do this because there has been some negativity in the forums lately, and it is time to do some spring cleaning. There has been a lot of political debate, which becomes heated and disruptive to the community. I have also seen new people treated rudely.
This week we are recognizing Mahoney.
This week you took on the huge task of documenting all the McDonald Play Places. Not only did you make a separate file but you also edited the original file.
You are amazing and we are so lucky to have you as one of our major contributors.
Thanks again for all that you do around here.
This is the place to talk about things that are not gps related.
This thread will be closed on Monday and a new one will be opened.

"Tired of spinning that steering wheel? Try this: German researchers have developed a new technology that lets drivers steer cars using only their eyes.
Raul Rojas, an artificial intelligence researcher at Berlin's Free University, said Friday that the technology tracks a driver's eye movement and, in turn, steers the car in whatever direction they're looking."
