As posted above, I am just curious if you use you vehicle GPS all the time when driving, whether you need it or not, if you don';t even turn it on when not needed, or do you put it elsewhere when not needed? My wife drives a Dodge Grand Caravan and she completely stored the Garmin Nuvi 500 most of the time and only powers it up when needed.
How do i upload a file to this site? Do i need a program on my computer? thanks.
I have basecamp in my PC and when i go to Canada there is no detail, something wrong or do i have to spend more money to do what mapsource does for free.
In reviewing my SPAM folder this morning I came across a message from Defend Bedbugs with a message subject of "Bed Bugs a REAL Nightmare." That kind of got me thinking with just this single line to work with.
Does anyone have a desire to create a new POI file for Brixx Wood Fired Pizza?

There's a particular intersection where I wish a RLC cam would be installed....yesterday.
People routinely blow the light, come off the expressway and bypass the line by making an illegal left turn. All because there isn't a camera and they know it.

In danger of losing your windmill?
Maybe you can share with us the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you use it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.) Anything to keep your windmill alive.

Technology advances thereby affecting forum usage. Recently I ran across a "Civil War Trails" Android application put out by the State of Maryland that conceptually "wipes out" my North Carolina "Civil War Trails" POI project.
NOW in NYC they've installed bus lane cameras. if you in a designated bus lane you will get a $90 ticket
The St. Louis county police chief agreed most speed camera are for profit. I'm in favor speed camera in school and work zone. Go Chief Finch. I'm 100% behind you.
“On Tuesday, during a visit to Google headquarters in Mountain View, Calif., Governor Jerry Brown signed legislation to allow autonomous vehicles to operate on the state’s roads. The tools that the car uses to drive, including radar and GPS tracking, help manage traffic flow by maintaining a constant speed and can even help reduce the necessary gap between cars.”
This round-about is new. Traffic proceeds as if it is an intersection. Through traffic encounters 2 intersections and later a merge point. An opportunity exists for T-Bone crashes. I was southbound. A W/B motorist zipped straight through ahead of me at about 45 mph.
I notice today while coming back from Miami on I-75 Northbound at some entry and exit ramps between Naples and Punta Gorda cameras mounted very low and close to the ramp.
This week, we're recognizing pmhennessey and nv_ham!
Pmhennessey has been a user for several years and maintains the Ohio Wineries & Vineyards file. He also recently offered to assist a newer member by sending him a GTM20 cord and cradle that he was no longer using. Many of us were touched by this act of generosity. Thanks Pmhennessey!
