Lawmakers Pledge CRA Vote to Reverse Net Neutrality Repeal

 

Lawmakers like Chuck Schumer are promising a vote to use the Congressional Review Act (CRA) to block the Trump FCC's attempts to kill net neutrality. The FCC voted 3-2 along party lines to kill popular net neutrality protections, though the agency now faces a challenging legal assault by those claiming the agency engaged in numerous process fouls while also ignoring the will of the public. One recent survey suggests that 83% of the public opposed the agency's roll back of the rules, which won't technically take effect until 60 days after the repeal hits the federal register.
