This popped up when I plugged my 3790 LMT into Web Updater today.

First Web Updater Updated it self then This showed up nuvi 37xx (GCD File) software version 4.60 with a whole list of changes:

Arent we do for a garmin map update??

My Nuvi 1470 has been very flakey since installing the 2012.1 maps. Bizarre routing mostly and now it is getting stuck at 99% when calculating certain routes. Anyone else have this issue?

Finally retired my old nuvi 350, still worked, but 2009 maps had me flying through the cornfields in too many places, and the stores kept moving around.
Wife just gave me a 1490 LMT, seems really nice

I'm trying to remove all my favorites, rename them (in MapSource) to something that makes more sense, then re-upload them to my 560LMT.

When I delete my favorites, then restart the GPS, they all come back! I've already deleted all the .gpx files form the /GPX/archive directory.

I have been noticing many sensors going up around intersections where I travel in NJ.

I now have a suction-mounted smart phone holder for my car. Would it be useful if I took a picture of the intersection(s) where I am seeing these sensors (probably red light and/or speed cameras)?

Just purchased the 3490 after hearing about the new traffic features. Previous gps was 1690, i was suprised not to see fuel prices or airline schedules etc. I'm not sure if these can be downloaded, it has a lot of nice features didn't think it was worth the change.

I received this from Garmin when I had another issue. Just thought that I would pass it on.

I logged onto "My Garmin" and was told I had a software update available. Downloaded it. Then downloaded the Map Update (from 2012.10 to 2012.20). After the download finished and unit was ready to install, a message came up that there was not enough room in the unit for US and Canada maps (which i DID have previously), so I had to settle for the US only. WHY?????

has the 255W been replaced by a new model if so which one?

I will be getting a new computer that I will boot into Ubuntu, which is a Linux based operating system. The computer will be dual boot, so I will still have access to Windows should I need it.

Any advice on managing the Garmin Nuvi 650 using Ubuntu directly? Or should I simply plan on booting into Windows and doing my upgrades the "old" way.

Where do you the coordinates to decimal degrees from min and secs.

I've put a number of POI files on the 3490 - but on the road, the BMP icons I've included, 24X24, end up being about 1/4 the size of the standard Garmin icons. Almost too tiny to see!

It's true of the speed camera, red light camera and Starbucks icons.

Is there any way to hard wire the 3490 to a car's electrical system and maintain the traffic service?

Just got a price alert for the 3790LMT
$255.99

A new firmware update for the 2595LMT is out as of Nov 3. It seems to address several problems that I have been having with this unit but there are many more to go.

By the looks of it there are updates for several other units as well.
