no map data available Help

I Updated the new map, when i engage the address icon, it comes up no map data available. When I hit the icon points of interest, and one of the icons, food, fuel, transit, lodging, shopping, etc. it says no map available. Does anyone know how to fix this problem.

How did you update the map?
It's possible that something happened during the update process, but the problem you are having generally only occurs because you are missing a particular file. So how did you update the map?

happened to me yesterday...so I reloaded it...BAM!! All was fine after that second attempt.

1st update left off jcv
When I updated yesterday it left off my jcv file. I went back to the automatic update and reinstalled my map and all is fine now.
Garmin must have had a problem yesteday!!

When I updated yesterday it left off my jcv file. I went back to the automatic update and reinstalled my map and all is fine now.
Garmin must have had a problem yesteday!!
On my first Auto-download it also forgot the JCV, Garmin adviced me to go back and do a manual download to fix that and the voice recognition that wasn't working 100%, after doing the second download everything is Honky Dory

I was wondering if you were able to fix your problem and what you had to do to fix it. I have a 1490, the same thing happened to me after updating my maps.
