Routes will not delete

Hello all, I use my route feature on my nuvi 1490lmt quite a bit and never had problems. Since I did the last firmware & map update (NA 2012.30), I cannot delete programmed routes. The unit just freezes up when I press delete and I have to restart the unit.
The first time this happened, I saved my GPX file on my computer and did a hard restart. This cleared the route. When I entered new routes the same thing happened again.
Anyone else having this issue?
Not mine
I have the 1490 and have not experienced that problem. I have noted that old routes will not be correct with a new map update. I would expect that to be true, and not a fault of the unit.
Routes
I updated my 1490t today. I successfully created a route on it, navigated and deleted it. Then I imported a route from Mapsource and did the same. I could not duplicate your problem.

Problem solved
What was causing the freeze up was a custom POI folder I had loaded on my sd card. I created routes with other files and had no problems. As soon as I used the data from that problem file, it froze again. The problem file works okay as a stand alone file but as soon as I include into multiple routes thats when the problems begin.
