About a month ago I did a hard reset of my 2460 because it was taking extremely long to calculate routes. After the reset I noticed a light blue line following the car on the map, and this is whether I have a route set to follow or the unit is just on while I'm driving.

Driving home from work today I had a slight traffic delay being reported. I noticed the Zumo 665 was telling me to exit at an exit 5 miles ahead and not 17 miles where my normal exit is. It seemed strange to me since the yellow delay was only 1 minute.

I see on garmin.com that the traffic reports are divided into 3 categories, asking you which is right for you:

3D Traffic, Digital 3D Traffic, and 3D Live Traffic. I own a 2350LMT, so how do I know what my coverage area is using the above categories?

There is a highway with six red light cameras in near succession. My Garmin 255W sounds a loud beep-beep and displays a small identifying black icon when I am approaching the first RLC. When I approach each of the next five RLC's, I get the icon display, but no beep-beep.

Hello all. Can anyone guide me how to create custom POI symbols that can be added in the list of default ones on POI editors. POI editing software like Easy GPS, Mapsource, BaseCamp, etc., have the default icons groups sorted from airport to Zoo icons.

It looks like Garmin has now introduced a couple of "Live" items.

The first is a new Nuvi, the 3590LMT, which is pretty much a 3490LMT with a 5" screen and includes the second "LIVE" product called Smartphone Link for Android.

Does anyone know how to remove MSN Direct Service files from a Garmin 255 w ? Such a shame that the service is gone.

I started the map update on my 765T with my lifetime map update. It had a problem using the Garmin lifetime map updater and it stopped loading and gave an error near the end of the loading. I resorted to the manual option on the Garmin site for updating maps. I am getting an error saying there is not enough room on the 765 to install US and Canada maps. I tried several things.

I have a route programmed in my 855. The first waypoint was still in the distance, so upon selecting that route, I said yes to the "Would you like to navigate to the beginning of the route?"

The nuvi navigated me to the beginning of the route. Upon reaching the route's first waypoint, a popup box said "navigating route" or similar.

How do you delete all the unwanted files in webupdater. When there is a new update for the gps there are all these voice files that I don't need. How do you delete all these voices.

I bought a Nuvi 350 a while back and it I think it was around $300. For Christmas I have out Nuvi 50 LM's and they were $99 and seem to have more features.

The 350 seemed much faster and I have loved it. But I am wondering what they did to make these 50's so inexpensive as even today there are GPS units that cost much more.

I have a semi-permanently mounted 765 without traffic in my SUV and a 885 with traffic in my convertible. I alternate which I drive to work. There were wrecks Wednesday and Thursday obstructing my path home. Wednesday I was in the SUV, with no traffic, so I got to wade through it. Thursday - last night - I was in the convertible.

Apparently this unit has a hidden system folder. My PC is set to Show Hidden Files And Folders AND Not Hide Protected Operating System Files yet I cannot see the .system folder. I see the Nuvi 3490 as a portable device in device manager and then internal storage which has all the other folders Audible, Garmin, GPX, etc. but no system folder. Any ideas what's wrong?

I bought a Garmin Nuvi 1300 in July, it worked fine for about 2 months, and then stopped working, it could not find satelites. I followed all of Garmins instructions on doing a hard boot of the device, install the latest software, ect., but nothing worked.

How does one go about getting a new battery installed in their Nuvi 780?

Is there a way to see how accurate this GPSr is? Or to see how many satellites are locked?

thanks for bearing with me guys with some probably easy questions. I am updating my software, etc, and see that I am also eligible for a numaps Lifetime North America update.

What is the difference with this map and the already installed City Navigator North America I have? Rather ask here than call garmin to be honest.
