Not enough Memory - Is this normal?
I have a Nuvi 350 with U.S. NT-2008 maps in the unit. Also, have Thailand V8 maps in the SD card. Type in an address to Thailand and push to "Go" button. The unit does the calculation mode and returned an error message of something like "Not enough Memory". I guess we really can't drive from U.S. to Thailand.

Which software version?
Hi Folks,
I purchased my Nuvi 660 about two months ago and it has the 2008 maps installed on it however, the unit software is version 4.10 SO, what version software is everyone else running AND, should I update the unit to version 4.20 of the software? What will I gain in the update to 4.20? What will I lose?
Thanks!
Clint

Entering Rural Street Addresses
I am new to the 660 and ran into an issue that I finally solved, but off and on, it took me 3 days. I was trying to enter my in-law's (no jokes, please) address into my favorites. The Post Office lists their street as W COUNTY ROAD 200 N. Well, the nuvi didn't like that. I tried several variations of it, still no good.

Updating Street Names
I'm about to move from Snowy Chicago-land to the Memphis Area, and while looking for a house, I notice some improperly named streets in my new subdivision. How do you inform Garmin about discrepancies? I looked on Google maps, and they have the same incorrect names listed. How often are things like this updated?

Using the SD card with 680
I have looked for the answers with no luck.
When I use the poiloader and put a file of poi's directly in the 680, it replaces the one file with the next file. I can only have one file at a time?
I have a number of files on the sd card but do not know how to make the 680 search the sd card.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Sorry if this is a stupid request
Thanks
Moose

Testing a file
I need someone with a 76CSx to load a file and see if their unit will display the icons on an attached file. If a 76CSx is not available, maybe any marine unit, preferably a hand held unit. Need to check to see if the name, address, text and icon shows up. Any help will be appreciated. Here is a link to the file.

Power and Navigate NUVI from USB out of the car.
I put this idea in another post but it was lost there.
I want to take my NUVI 250W on a trip where I have no access to a 12V charger outlet while in navigate mode. The solution appears obvious - use a 5VDC battery box. I now have one of those with a USB female plug output but turns out to be far from that simple.
The Problem.

USB Charging
Just got my first GPS - Nuvi 250W. Haven't been able to mount it yet due to lousy Winter weather. Wanted to know if I can charge it by plugging it into my computer's USB port, and if a regular USB cable with a mini connector on the end is suitable, or do I need a special cable from Garmin?
Thanks

Speed alerts? (speed alert 2mph)
While traveling i get "speed alert 2mph" what does this mean? A speed trap? Known areas where speed traps are set up? I get one just at the entrance to my gated area in florida and i never see any police activity in the area? Anyone have an explanation

gpx-poi.com = Web based gpx file generator
I created the following web site; it will generate gpx files based on user input:
The Longitude and Latitude can be calculated based upon address information typed in by the visitor.
gpx poi files created with this web site have been successfully downloaded to a Garmin nuvi 260 navigator.

Maximum Number of POI's - The Practical Limit
I was helping a fellow poster understand why he could not load his POI's on his numi 660. POI Loader hangs.
He has 195,812 POI's in 12 dirs and 137,823 in a 13th dir, lets call it Water. All are good with no problems.

Fodor's North America Travel Guide
I'll be in the Mexican Riviera in April and was wondering if anyone has used Fodor's North America Travel Guide for any POI's? How well did it work out? Thanks for the input.

Auto Mount / Power for Zumo
I have the Zumo 450, and interested in purchasing the auto mount and 12V plug. Has anyone purchased these items? I am curious if the mount has a speaker (for the voice commands) and if the power cord connects to the mount, or to the Zumo.
Thanks

Route Optimization
Has anyone had success with software for route optimization?
Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.
