GarminNuvi 750 for $299 ... a deal

sounds like quite the deal - I wonder though whats wrong when something is so cheap.

A friend of my called HSN. He was told they had 8,000 Nuvi 750s and the price was good today only.

It really looks like Garmin is dumping these for some reason. I'd be hesitant to buy - even at this price.

Probably trying to get rid of them since the 850 is basically being replaced by the 850 I guess.

If they are selling 8,000 of them on a cheap outlet like MSN they are definitely trying to get rid of them very fast. I have a feeling with all the issues they have had with the 750 major retailers don't want them and they are dumping them as fast as they can.

Garmin wants to get a bunch of them on the street, in the hands of consumers, who will show them off to their friends, who will in turn want one...

It's a marketing stunt folks. Take off the tin-foil hats, and, if you were wanting to buy a good GPSr at a very good price, now is the time.

What a price, couldn't help myself. I have a 530 but was looking at the Nuvi's. This price is great, was looking for the text to say the street names. Can't wait to get it and load the great POI files from here.

There goes my alleged Tax Rebate Check, I guess I'll help the economy by spending some of it.

Costco will let me return my Nuvi 650...I could replace it with the759 for the exact same price..Humm...or do I wait a few months and see what else will be that cheap;

Just bought the 260w for $400. Thats going back to the store now cause the 750 does everything and more. Its still cheaper even after shipping and crappy Circum City restocking fees.

But I didn't get the rebate yet, oh well, who cares, its only money LOL!

I wonder how much the Nüvi750 will be when the Tax Rebate Check arrives ? That price is the best I have seen, I ordered one too !

I saw this on techbargains for Valentine's Day but they were all sold out. I grabbed it this time for the wife.

This is exactly what I did. Returned the 650 I purchased in October. Picked up a 750. It just made perfect sense - 750 has more features and was actually cheaper with the coupon code.

Dropped down a bit because of competition. I read the prices will be dropping down even lower very soon. Thats the reason for the stock going lower.

They are completely out of stock. I talked with HSN and it looks like they are not going to have it any more.

So its possible that maybe this is the closeout of the 750

Glad that I got the 750 that day, thanks to this site. This is a great unit, nice update from C530.

HSN has specials here and there. Once HSN is out of the product, the special is over. Doubt Garmin is discontinuing the 750.
