We have countdown pedestrian walk signals that can tell us when a signal will turn red, but how about a countdown timer to tell us when a light will go green?

There is new speed camera located in Bluff City, Tn on Route 11. This camera watches both north and south lanes in a 45 MPH zone. There are warning signs warning you about the camera but they are only about 1/4 mile away. Tickets for this camera start in December.
I'll try to get a gps reading on the camera and post it here.

Hello all just want to put some info out that Washington state has now approved the use of Speed Cameras. There is only 1 in the Tacoma area and is on a blind coner on River Road.

If you are one of the tens of thousands of local drivers to get a ticket from a photo camera system, it might interest you — or irk you — to hear what the law intended you to pay.

As the guy who instigated this, I want to thank Miss POI for publishing the camera files on Tuesday this week. Now we'll have the "latest and greatest" when we start our trip tomorrow.

I never thought there could be such a thing, but I have stumbled upon it. In the Northwest Herald, someone wrote this gem to the editor.

Just downloaded the Red light camera file and extracted it.

It shows Redlight Beta, Redlight Cameras, and Speed Cameras.

What is the difference in Redlight Beta and the Redlight Cameras files?

Am I to put all three files in POI loader?

East Garden City at Old Country Road and Ring Road
East Rockaway at Atlantic Avenue and Ocean Avenue
Election Day just passed! Will send coordinates.

I found this web site from Arizona gov.
It list Speed camera locations.
I am going to Arizona and want to convert to use on my Garmin.
Any suggestions???

Does anyone know if there is a radar detector that works on speed and or traffic light cameras?

Newark, NJ has activated its first two RLCs on Monday November 16. They are providing a 30-day warning period - drivers violating the red lights at the two intersections will receive a warning letter in the mail. After December 15, it will cost $85 for the violation. There are no license points associated with the tickets.

Just thought I'd give you all a heads up on a future red-light intersection. I was going to post the first article sooner, but I wanted to know if the study was given the go ahead. I called the Village of Lakemoor yesterday, but the person I needed to speak to left for the day. I called this morning, and the answer was confusing.

The Loma Linda City Council tonight will resume discussions of a proposal to end the use of red-light cameras at four intersections.
City Council has proposed ending the contract with Redflex Traffic Systems, and instead having yellow lights operate a second longer to cut the chance of accidents

On tonight's evening news in LA.

"Videos, provided to us by companies that sell red-light camera systems, show gruesome accidents and red light violators caught on tape. It is images like these that sell cities on the use of red light cameras.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who contributed to the red light and speed cameras. I loaded mine yesterday. I pulled up to my first light and before I could even leave the intersection, 2 people drove through and flash/flash...
