Washington State's E-DUI Law

A new law in Washington state takes affect tomorrow called E-DUI (Electronic - Driving Under the Influence). Not sure if any other states have come up this particular designation before.

FCC Refuses to Release 47,000 Net Neutrality Complaints

The current FCC likes to insist that net neutrality isn't a real problem to help justify their attack on the current net neutrality rules. Yet Ars Technica notes the agency is fighting a request to release more than 47,000 net neutrality complaints that it has received since June 2015.

FBI Warns About Internet-Connected Toys' Security Risk

Deep Learning To Soon Bring Pro-Level Photography To Smartphones

Google researchers have been working on a project in which deep learning is used to create “professional-level photographs.” The project shows that in the near future, all photos could look like they were taken by professionals, and pictures taken with smartphones could benefit the most from this technology over the coming years.

A few months ago a member from this website send me an E-mail he wanted to help me with some question that I had about my GPS,I did not mind that he send me mail it all,exspecially if He live near me but I delete the messages by accident,before I could reply

10 years with POI Factory

I just saw that I have been a member of the POI Factory for over 10 years now. When I first joined there was no such thing as an iPhone. GPS I had spent a lot on a GPS for cross country trip with my daughter (now 25 years old!) and I was grateful for the POI Factory users for POI files, advice, and stories.

I've finally found a way to Aggravate callers coming from: "Card-Holder Services"

The folks who want to change your card balance to them....... (Yes, I'm on "Do Not Call" List!)

I ask to speak representative... Then say:

"Once I get your card, What is the MAXIMUM I can get from a Cash Advance from your card?"

When they tell me, they usually ask "Why do you ask?"

Royal Free, DeepMind Patient Data Sharing Deal Violated UK's Data Protection Law

The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), which is the Data Protection Authority in the UK, ruled that the Royal Free NHS Foundation Trust failed to comply with UK’s Data Protection Act. According to the ICO, Royal Free gave DeepMind access to the data of 1.6 million patients without fully disclosing to them how it would be used.

Note: DeepMind was purchased by Google in 2014.
