Daan Keuper and Thijs Alkemade, two researchers from a Dutch security firm Computest, discovered a flaw in Volkswagen and Audi cars that attackers could exploit remotely, over the internet. Volkswagen will not patch the flaw, as those car models lack the capability to be updated over-the-air.

We are driving from New York City to Falls Church, Virginia. The route looks simple: I-95 south from NY straight through Baltimore, then west on I-495 to Falls Church, 5 hours without traffic.

There is an alternate route to the northwest through Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on I-78, I-76, US-15, and I-270 that would take about 6 hours.

Be advised that travelers using the Pennsylvania Turnpike have another "cashless" section to navigate.

I have a reason why I didn't until TY2017. The software has a glitch because I work in one state and live in another. I figured out I had to put a "0" in a box and suddenly I could efile. My refund was deposited 10 days after I efiled, amazing. When mailing, I would start looking 14 days later, and one of the days it would show as received. efile? 1 hour later.

Today is the first day for the new Gmail with phishing protection that runs on Chrome for the PC. This is to prevent ransomware from being delivered to your PC. In Gmail, click the gear icon in the upper right corner and select "Try the new Gmail."

After I did this, Gmail crashed immediately. After restarting Chrome, everything was all right with the new Gmail running.

The company has released an add-on for Chrome – dubbed 'Windows Defender Browser Protection' – that effectively gives up a major asset in its own Edge browser.

Microsoft has ceded a major asset of its Edge browser to rival Google by releasing an add-on that boosts Chrome's phishing detection skills.

One family was charged $15,000 in fees and fines for using an EZ Pass bridge that should have been free to them (details in story). All because their account balance was below the toll fee! Workers knew what was happening, but didn't tell them right away.

Also, note the 2 different rates on the sign for in-state and out of state EZ Pass users.

First Photobucket decides that folks who have used their service for years for free should all of a sudden pay, breaking thousands of photo links across the net. One of the buckets alternatives (for me) was postimg.org, now that domain has disappeared and all the photo's associated with along it.
