This week we're recognizing Metricman and SnookMook!

Metricman maintains multiple files and recently updated the Bank of America file. SnookMook took the time to thank Metricman for maintaining the file.

Little things, like a simple note of appreciation, can go a long way in helping foster a healthy community.
So, thank you both for your contributions to our community this week!

skillz

I work in heavy highway construction in the Philadelphia, PA area.

When we mill and/or pave a street in Philly we have a team of tow trucks that relocate vehicles in the way, PA law allows for it, we post no parking at least two days prior.

Some tows require a little more skill than others ...

Transfer of POIs

I currently have speed and red light cameras and audible alerts for them loaded in my portable (vehicle) Garmin GPS.

I recently purchased a 2014 Chev Silverado that has a built in navigation systems using a NOVDEC system. It has red light camera visual logos but apparently no way to sync and audible warning tone with the visual warning.

And now... comments about Apple; this site states --- Apple Isn't Your Friend

Apple has been steadily positioning itself as the anti-Facebook for a while now, and between verbal jabs aimed at the social media giant and privacy-focused product decisions, the patient goodwill campaign seems to be working. Unfortunately, Apple isn’t going to save us, and now’s the time to keep your guard up.

FBI Warns To Reboot Your Router

The FBI is advising all those with home and small business routers to reboot them immediately due to a malware threat:

POI Factory Password

I regularly receive an incorrect password message when logging in after being away for 4-5 days. It is easily corrected with the forgotten PW link to my email but takes a couple more steps.

Does anyone else have this problem?
