Facebook Uses AI To Fight Malicious Link 'Cloaking'
Facebook announced that it's using AI to decloak malicious content that's masquerading as legitimate advertisements or web pages. These efforts are supposed to help the company make sure bad actors can't evade its reviewers' gazes to mislead or harm the billion-plus people who use its service.

FCC Mulls Combining Wired And Wireless Broadband Goals
What is "broadband" internet access? Right now the FCC restricts the term to wired connections with 25Mbps download and 3Mbps upload speeds. Now the agency has asked the public to comment on its proposal to include in that definition wireless connections, which have a minimum 10Mbps down and 1Mbps up.

In June, Russian antivirus company filed an antitrust lawsuit in the European Union against Microsoft. Kaspersky has been frustrated for some time with what it called "underhanded tactics" from Microsoft that were meant to eliminate third-party antivirus competition on Windows.
