Keeping The Windmill Alive - Your Last Trip? – February 2019

In danger of losing your windmill?

Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).

Anything to keep your windmill alive.

This thread will be closed on the last day of the month and a new one will be opened.

This is much more exciting than the Super Bowl. Have a great week

Just sewing

No plans this week just staying home and sewing a new purse while my two new robots clean the floors.
Christmas brought me an iRobot i7 vacuum and iRobot Braava 380t mop.
Sure is nice on my bad hip.

just drove around town

Took daughter to her friend's place. GPS guided me to its hidden driveway. Daughter had no clue where she lived so I've got to work on getting her to look around instead of at the phone.

all is

well...

Last trip...

Northern Ireland, County Donegal, North Wales. The Garmin worked great. Only got really hosed one time, and it was inopportune confused Drove off the ferry onto Aranmore Island in a driving rainstorm with low overcast. Needed to make a left, but the way was blocked, so went right and said "Garmin will figure it out." Then the satellite signal seemed to have disappeared. The result was driving around unimproved roads in a low ground clearance car on an island where our innkeeper confirmed "everybody drives 4-wheel-drive vehicles."

That's what adventure is all about, through. Had a blast! grin
