Texas Deep Freeze

Best wishes to those stuck in the frozen states in and around Texas. The unprecedented cold conditions in the South with no electricity to heat homes or communicate by phone or computer is a miserable condition to have to bear and in the middle of a pandemic no less.

Hang in there.

Rest Areas - Codes

Hello, I have looked all over and cannot find what these abbreviations mean in the Rest Areas CSV file. Any help would be appreciated. smile

Different colors of text in subject headings

Observant as I am... I just noticed that the subject headings in some of the forums (Garmin) have two shades of blue. Why.. and what does it signify?
Just curious,
Thanks

more good ol' American customer service

I was in the bathroom....drip, drip, drip

That's funny all the cartridges are 2020, sink and shower.

My hunch? Whenever a drip is steady, it's a leak, like it or not.

So I proceed to troubleshoot the shower, even remove the shower head to make sure it's not dumping water that's residual (but again the drip was steady). With it completely removed, still dripping.

Bucs’ rout of Chiefs earns worst Super Bowl rating since 1969

I used to watch all the pro games I could. They might blame covid but that's not why I didn't watch a single pro game this season.

Do you tear wiper blades in the winter?

I just noticed getting the wipers unstuck from my wife's car, the end is torn.

This clearly happened last year as well.

What happens is the torn part wiggles and creates a streak.

I never gave it any thought in all the years of driving!

Her wipers are like $27 each at the dealer, and $19 on eBay.

this doesn't happen all the time (pkg smaller, price decreases)

Went to grab paper towels at Costco and there was a sign, I wish I took a pic, as if to assure customers you are not paying more even though the package is smaller.

So I get home and check, lo and behold the paper towels are now 898.3 sq ft, used to be 1026.

The old package was $16.99, the new, $14.79.
