I know we have discussed this before, but I am really getting tired of telemarketing calls that have spoofed caller ID's showing a local number. I typically get 5 or 6 of these a day. I know this practice is against the FTC Telemarketing Sales Rule, so I assume most of them are coming from foreign sites that the FTC can't enforce.

Whenever the baseball team wins, McDonald's has free crispy chicken sandwiches. Can you imagine if Chick Fil A did that?

Yesterday I go out at lunch to pick one up. Use the app, park in the curbside space.

The person came out and said something about free.

I said huh?

She said you are getting this for free, you can come inside to get it! hahahahahahahahahahaha

I repaired a laptop 2 months ago, and found a deal on 1TB SSD from Micro Center.... Seagate Barracuda SSD... When I registered it at Seagate I discovered it had a 5 year Warranty!! Immediately became my new "goto" drive.... because of the Name & Warranty!

Couple weeks later, When a second laptop needed updating, immediately ordered another, when I found it was still on sale....

I really like having a Chromebook. It's lightweight, cheaper than a laptop PC or Mac, fast booting, etc. I keep mine near my chair so when listening to the radio, watching TV or playing a movie, when a question arises, I can Google it right away.

I remember as a kid, waiting for things. But I think even myself, over the last 10 years, I don't feel anything should take more than 2-3 days to get. I did order a car in 10/06 and it took 9 weeks to arrive--boy that was a rough 9 weeks!

So, I did a lot of genealogy work on my Win 10 PC today and left a bunch of windows open to continue working on after din-din. When I came back after a couple of hours, I noticed that I now had a picture as a screen saver instead of a blank (black) screen.
