what happens with credit card recurring payments

When those charging are closed for business, due to the pandemic?

Meaning, they're not open for business, so one cannot get the services that the recurring payments are for. One can also not reach the business to stop the payments, because they are closed.

Things to do when you can't do anything

OK folks, let's help each other out a bit. This idea came to me as I posted in another thread about a visit I had yesterday with some friends. We conversed across the front lawn obeying the rules of social distancing but still being within eyeshot and it was truly uplifting after being quarantined in my house after work for 7 days yet.

Gas under $1/gallon

I just checked Gas Buddy and there is a town in Wisconsin where unleaded is $0.999/gallon. Devlan, WI.

I live near Eau Claire, WI where is recently dropped to $1.499. Too bad we can't go anywhere.

The coronavirus stimulus relief bill offers direct cash payments of up to $1,200 for individuals and $2,400 for couples, with $500 added for every child, based on 2019 tax returns for those who filed them and 2018 information if they have not. Covid data and more

I just want to share a project of mine to my fellow data-heads. I've created a web-app at https://www.omjroute.com/ which uses data abstracted from here for several layers (tools/set layer).

Also yesterday I created a query at Data_World for current Covid-19 files, parsed it into JSON and turned it into a layer in my app. Here's my blog post about it: https://www.oldmanjim.com/daily-status

Thanks to all the folks who maintain POI files!

Just wanted to post a thanks to all who maintain the POI files here!!!

anybody have their home reassesed last year?

Where I live the houses were reassessed and mine doubled.

It's unprecedented because I've lived here since 2002.

My buddy said you had better hope the mil rate is adjusted or your s******.

I didn't do anything illegal, have no improvements, etc.

2020 Census

I received my Census 2020 login ID in the mail today. I went to the .gov website, logged in and submitted my information. It was very simple to navigate and the website worked fine for me. With only two people in my household, it only took about 10 minutes fill in the information and submit it.

This week we're recognizing, Bwarden!

Bwarden has been a member of POI Factory for over 12 years.

He maintains numerous files and last week updated several of the Ti-Met Bus Stops and Light Rail files.
Since there's a necessary slowing of public transportation usage at the moment, and likely will be for awhile, I wanted to get him recognized this week.

Will We See Some "Fire Sale" Prices On GPS And Other Devices In The Future?

I have read that some people are speculating that certain retailers will have some "fire sale" prices on certain devices after COVID-19 is behind us. While I am certainly no economist, I can understand why some people are predicting that.

Anyone killing travel due to Covid-19?

I won the lottery for a trip to The Wave this summer. I will be going! I am driving though, so my chance of exposure should be lower than those flying or riding in a tin tube with the general public. Let's hear from the crowd.
