I was rooting for the Bengals, too, but their lack of discipline at the end cost them the game. That's too bad.

They have a couple of players who can’t control their emotions and have a tendency to commit stupid penalties. And, the halftime show was pathetic. I probably watched a grand total of thirty seconds. I watched about ten seconds at the start, didn’t like it, turned the channel, went back about ten minutes later; it hadn’t improved, so I changed the channel again. When I switched back , there was twelve minutes left in the third quarter.

Super Bowl

I liked the game and was for the LA Rams, but the half time was a time we went for a potty break as what we did see was the worst of many years

Was hoping for a Bengals win

Was hoping for a Bengals win although when asked I said the Rams would probably win it. It was a good game.

Go, Rams

congratulations, Rams.

half time was boring.

Rams...

I rooted for the Rams but only because the Bengals knocked the Chiefs out of the game. The Rams and the Bengals have the ugliest helmets in football.

When the halftime show came on I switched to the news and watched that instead. I can't stand hip hop or rap.

Long time Rams fan here

So I'm quite happy with the result. Probably drank a couple too many beers to celebrate the win though, but since I watched the game at home it's all good.

curiously

My wife has tons of friends in LA, yet none of them were rooting for the Rams. Some the Bengals, some no team. Thought that was weird, but then I remembered the history. This is a St. Louis team, and didn't LA have no football team for more than a decade? Now suddenly they have 2.

The scenario reminded me of the NY Islanders moving to Brooklyn, then moving back to Long Island.

Say the Bruins moved to Philly, and there were 2 teams. Would I suddenly root for the Bruins...nope lol

RAms

the Rams win then some people riot in the streets..

Rams

Never could understand the rioting after a team wins something the Super Bowl, I think is shows disrespect for the team.

maybe

times have changed, but I always found it remarkable, a city the size of Montreal has no power for 3 days, and there are a number of looting incidents that can be counted with the fingers on one hand. But when it comes to NHL hockey, rioting, burning, etc. lol

Now I do say times have changed, maybe 2022 it's way different than 1998, or 1955.

I do recall when the Bruins beat Vancouver there was rioting.

We get a bad rap. Lightpoles were greased when we won the Super Bowl. Was that really necessary? My buddy said how uncivilized is it where you live?

For example, in the 90's, it was a bad idea to wear the opponents' jersey, something we'll never live down (should a person be punched and beer poured over them for wearing the other team's jersey? Of course not.). But, flash forward to 2020 was it, in Tampa. Father and son asked to remove their opposing team's jerseys (father and son, as in a kid, mind you), and when they refused, asked to leave by the venue's security. See the pattern, as time goes on?

One last example 5 1/2 years ago. I remember being at a I'm gonna just say it, Washington Redskins game in MD. I mean no offense that's what they were called in 2016, and I don't know what they're called today. 50 yard line, 3rd row. Seattle Seahawks (hope that name is not offensive) side. Fights were about to erupt nearly the entire game, as there were more Redskins fans than Seahawks fans, lots of taunting, and deliberate holding of banners blocking the view of anyone sitting. Nuts, and can you imagine how much the seats cost, and people behave like that?

You got that right

You got that right
