Amusing Starbucks GPS story

So, the first weekend I have my nuvi 680, I had to go out to a wedding in New Jersey (near Cherry Hill) We're playing around with the GPS, and my fiancee was in the mood for a Starbucks, since they have soy milk hippie food stuff. I bring up the attractions list, type in Starbucks. The closest one was something like 97 miles away. So we gave up. Then, on the way back to the hotel, what should we find... but a Starbucks! Never did show up on the GPS.

I'm not sure what that says about Lewis Black's 'Starbucks across the street from a Starbucks' thing, but they definitely have not fully taken over in the GPS world.

Depends on how old your data is

At the rate Starbucks go up it is possible the one you found wasn't built when the database was compiled. Were you using the latest 2008 map and/or Starbucks POI file?

Try under the "Food" category.
