Life is full of obstacles and sometimes it's simply rewarding to have them in the rearview.

It will be interesting to see how this develops for iPhone users. For those that like to use Google Maps or other navigation apps, this will be good.

As posted above, what are your favorite online maps? For many of us, I suspect it will be Google Maps. There are other choices, too. Lately, I have been using:

I do a lot of mowing and have been looking at robot mowers to free up some time. These units have been around for a while but the latest generation is now using sophisticated GPS & RTK navigation.

Apple has released iOS 26.4.1 and iPadOS 26.4.1, providing bug fixes for Apple Passwords and enabling Stolen Device Protection for enterprise users.

My update on an iPad took about 15 minutes. By the way I moved to version 26 a month or so ago and I find I can live with the Liquid Glass using some settings to minimize the effect.

I like using Garmin OpenFietsMap Full from BBBike.org. Until now, I have simply used maps from area near my residence. However, my wife and I are now traveling more and I would like to download the entire United States. The maximum size is 1500 MB, so I will need to download several different sections to get the entire continental United States.

I've received multiple phone calls recently, allegedly from Dish Network, claiming adjustments to my receiver were required to continue watching certain channels.

Today I took a short drive around my city to compare the Garmin City Navigator NA maps to the Open Map Chest Maps Midwest. I used my Garmin DriveLuxe 51 with CN NA amd my Nuvi 3597 with Open Map Chest. As much as possible, I kept the settings the same.
