Version 26 (iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS Tahoe, watchOS 26, visionOS 26, and tvOS 26) for various Apple products is due to be released on 09/15/2025. Typically this occurs around 1 PM Eastern time. An overview of the new features can be found at https://www.apple.com/in/os/. Note that along the top you can select specific device types and see the features specific to the device.

As posted above, has anybody here overlaid one map on another? The reason I ask is because I have been using two maps that I download from BBBike.org. They are:

Garmin Cycle (Latin 1)

Garmin Ontrail (Latin 1)

I doubt that I will replace my smartphone with something like this any time soon, but it is still interesting to read about.

As posted above, I am seeing Garmin ads comparing their features to cell phone satellite features. It is interesting to me to see what the sales numbers are like on the Garmin inReach and the subscriber numbers on the Iridium satellite network.

My wife and I are starting to look around for RV trip planning websites and smartphone apps. It looks like there are a few out there.

I just updated my video card and then the screen flashed and now all the print is lighter and the letters look like it is running out of ink like an old version of windows?I did a restore but no difference.This is on a W 7 PC.Just found a web site that explained the peoblem.It wasin the advanced system properties and changed from performance to let windows decide and it all came back to normal.
