Do you misplace gift cards?

Surprisingly, I do. And I consider myself careful.

Part of me says they are not good gifts, people may lose them.

I was looking at old pics to delete because my phone is always full, and I saw a pic of a Home Depot receipt showing I had $31.48 left. I said here we go again, now where would that have gone?

information on the web

I find it to be remarkably bad nowadays, as if the internet is like driving in Phila--the wild wild west.

Yesterday, as my son and I were leaving the ice rink, a yellow symbol illuminates on my dash. I know I've seen this before but forget what it means (German cars are like hieroglyphics at times).

National Address Database (NAD)

I have noticed that some databases I use seem to offer potential street addresses when I start to fill in an address. For example, on the AT&T site, when I enter the 5 digits from my street address and then the first three letters, it shows my precise address. I have noticed this on other websites, too.

Are they using the National Address Database (NAD) or something else?

Multi-Cancer Early Detection Test Study

Just in case anyone is interested, there's now a Multi-Cancer Early Detection screening test called Galleri by GRAIL, LLC. It looks for potential cancers BEFORE you have symptoms, and utilizes only a small (2 vials) blood draw to check for "signals" present in over 50 types of cancers. Currently, only 5 types are routinely screened for by other tests.

My medical journey ... so far

Busy week helping my doctors to put their kids thru college.

First a colonoscopy to see if the tumor that started my cancer journey is gone, it is, nothing but scarring in the area, but one large polyp past that spot, probably there when he found the cancer but since he couldn't get past the tumor the last time it went unseen.

US Postal Service

We all know that the USPS is in dire straits financially. I think I now know the reason why. I ordered something off of Wal-Mart.com. It was coming out of Provo, UT. It left Provo on Friday and arrived in Indianapolis yesterday morning. I live outside Cincinnati and Indianapolis is only 80 miles to the NW. Upon checking this morning, I find out that the package is now in Jersey City, NJ.
