Would you return a license plate to DMV, once a vehicle is removed from the road?

I never have before, but am considering it with the current car that was a total loss and insurance canceled.

I have been a volunteer driver bringing folks to doctors appointments, etc for the past 8 years. I have used a variety of devices including Garmin and TomTom.

Warredon46 has only been with us about 12 weeks, but we appreciated his post and his follow-up. It may have been a simple user error, but we still appreciate hearing back on all posted questions!

I remember my dad saying he wished he had ordered our Buick station wagon, rather than to have taken it off the lot.

We truly are examples imho of that Progressive commercial, where we become our parents.

It's not a bad thing--I'd like to think we pick up their good qualities.
