Welcome / open talk

Very old threads

Why do some people keep posting to very old , even years old threads. Its a waste of peoples time .

DIY car repair

I've become like most everyone I've known, don't like to fix my own cars anymore, despite having been very interested in cars since age 5.

2024/25 was the year of the car failures for us!

2024 broken Y pipe on 2006 Lexus

2025 cat flange leak on 2011 Buick

2025 Buick total loss

2025 Lexus radiator failure

This is not unexpected when one owns 2006, 2007, and 2011 vehicles.

Heads up about protests this weekend

I want to make it perfectly clear this isn't about politics in any way.

It's neither support nor condemnation.

Rather, its just a PSA for folks to know where these protests are going to be so they're not caught up in a potential traffic mess.

Never argue with a pig. It makes you look foolish and it anoys the hell out of the pig!

TPMS need them or a waste of money?

I'm 66 years old and have made it pretty far in life without needing my vehicle to tell me my tire air pressure. I check on a regular basis the old fashioned way.

Thanks,
