between a child's broken bone (this is shocking how much it costs starting with a $4,200 emergency room bill), tree falling during storm, central AC going kaput, lol
I wonder if others have this issue.
Several months ago, I began to logout from The POI Factory after visiting the site rather than staying logged on continuously except for the every week or two re-logon.
This is the official POI Factory Joke thread.

In danger of losing your windmill?
Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).
Anything to keep your windmill alive.

I have a Garmin 2460 that I use routinely in track-up display and prefer this orientation. I have recently started to play around with the in car screen on my 2018 Equinox and my Samsung Galaxy A50 phone. I can get the maps up and enjoy the display except for the life of me I can't figure out how to get to a track-up display or if it is at all possible.
Anybody have any ideas?
My ESX virtual host took a dirt nap. Since it is simply a pet project of mine and not generating any cash, it's replacement has to be set on a back burner for a spell. I'm hoping to have it up in a week or two, but it is going to take quite a bit of ingenuity since I don't have another host I can simply swap parts into. Shame on me hoping it would last forever...
I will keep you all posted.

How many people out there have their favorite music to listen to, while out on a road trip? Some of my favorites to listen to include music by Steve Roach, Michael Stearns, Tangerine Dream, and more. One album by Steve Roach, called The Road Eternal, is one of my essential albums. Also an album called Beyond City Light, by Jon Jenkins...the track Zzyzx Road is pretty awesome.
NATIONAL MOON DAY
National Moon Day on July 20th commemorates the day man first walked on the moon in 1969. NASA reported the moon landing as being “…the single greatest technological achievement of all time.”
During Wednesday evening's storm, the maple tree in our front yard fell and blocked part of the road.
Police responded in about 2 min. Public works arrived in about 30 min. In about 60 min, a huge truck with a chipper, and 3 men in chain saws arrived and were working in pouring rain (employees of the township).
