changed an iPhone battery

Unfortunately I had a new in the box never opened iPhone Pro. Battery discharged and no longer could be charged.

The replacement battery was $10 on amazon.

It wasn't that easy, and I would not want my phone going through this, but hey, $10 vs whatever a new one costs (they are always free with a new line, but changing mobile #'s is a real hassle).

Do You Still Use Physical Maps? When Was The Most Recent Time You Used One?

I ran across an article today about VHS, DVS and Blu-ray discs. Many people have switched tos streaming and don't have physical media.

Similarly, with navigation, we use smartphones/tablets/GNSS navigators, which have largely replaced paper maps, atlases, plat books, sectional charts and mapbooks.

However, when I Google this, I get this response:

How important is winning

This was not what I would have expected.

My son's in house team was 10-1-1, while the opponent was 1-9-2.

For the championship, they lost.

IOS and iPadoS 26.3.1 released

See https://www.macrumors.com/2026/03/04/apple-releases-ios-26-3...

I’m still not willing to make the jump until I can disable the Liquid Glass. Anyone with thoughts on the feature?

Utah red light and private collision cameras might be coming to UTAH in 2026, also a mall is using 'flock' cameras.

insurance switch and save--real?

I'm convinced that when one switches, and one saves, that means, one has reset the rate to the proper amount. Yes, it's savings when compared, but, it means one was paying too much.

We had a comp claim last May. They said comp claims do not raise rates.

This is 100% true.

snowblowers

I have a 2004 Sears (private label Yard Machines / MTD I believe) 9 HP and 29". The electric start broke when it was 4, so I've been pull starting ever since.

It's actually done well over the years, had a spell where it wouldn't run unless fully choked, but then, it self corrected.

Pennsylvania GPS legislation regarding TRUCKS being wrongfully led down some roads

Living in PA I understand the thought behind this but I think all this would do is stop GPS companies from selling GPS in PA. This legislation seems like a herculean task and nearly impossible to practically accomplish.
