Just a question, to see if anyone is interested. I travel by car to Florida, from NJ quite often. I am also a bit nostalgic about the original Howard Johnson's Restaurant chain (my kitchen is done with an old HoJo's booth, tableware, ads, and color scheme, thank god I have a cool wife), and created a file for myself with the locations of the "ghosts" of the restaurants along the I95 corridor.

I am looking for either Garmin map coverage for Latin America (guatemala) or another brand that would have it for a missionary friend. I've had a hard time finding much. There's some third party maps for Garmin (who knows if they're any good) I see a map you can purchase from Garmin for Mexico, which would help as he travels through there.

GPS is Chapter 2 page 76, This some very interesting reading.

Hello, I have a streetpilot and I have a corrupt basemap on my CityNav. 2009 v.9 maps. Could someone email me a copy of ther gmapbmap.img file. Please.

My wife and I are thinking about getting some cheap mountain bikes for casual weekend road riding. Since they will only be used sparingly we'd like to keep the cost under $250 each.

If this has been brought up before--sorry I couldn't find it.

hi all i have a nuvi 5000 and have msn direct GDM 50 ADD ON MY GDB 50 went out so so garmin sent me a new GDB 50 But that did not fix it so they send me a new dock for my nuvi 5000 and it did not work still they sent me a new nuvi 5000 and i got the Msn butterfly back now 6 months have go by and now it stated again my GDB 50 stop working it powers my unit but have no msn butterfly so i call garm

I route-up 20-30 residential addresses each day for the Chicagoland area. I find Yahoo’s geocode brings me literally right to the doorstep most of the time.
Anyone know where they get their data from?

I read that in the 2010 United States Census being taken, that every Address will be Geocoded.

Miss POI

I accidently deleted my maps from my gps unit. This occurred while downloading the maps, the USB cable was knocked off and the unit now read No detailed maps found etc... yes I did have a back up for the maps, but it was on my had drive which was lost through a system upgrade. I just don't know why the computer will not recognize the unit.

Hi,

I live in Warren, Ohio 44484. The Eastwood Mall does not appear on the Malls list. It is only a half mile from my home.

In addition, Mosquitoe Lake State Park does not appear on the Ohio State Park Poi listing. It is about 2 miles from my home.
