I have a GPSMap 478 will POI Loader work with it ?

I have a Garmin GPSMap 478 and I would like to know if POI Loader will work with my gps and if not is there a update i can download so it will ?

No. That unit is not compatible with POI Loader. And there's not currently an update that would allow that functionality.

However, the unit can hold 3000 Waypoints, so you could load a select set of POI files (in GPX format) as Waypoints.

Seriously though, the series is my favorite for bike use . . . .
