Does anyone know if there is a way to add different formats on a Garmin Nuvi? I have a Nuvi 370 and would like to be able to use MGRS format. All mine allows now is Lat/Long and British National Grid. All of my other Garmin products with the exception of the nuvi have let me use MGRS. Does anyone know if there is a workaround for this?

Hello-I just purchased the garmin 680 and would like load red light cameras and speed traps--read info on the POI loader from garmin and set a folder up for the POI's---heres my question ; I have two different POIS -if I was two load both would the unit show the total of the two combined(assuming many would be duplicates on the two POIs)-thanks solutionworks

Hi, Can you install ALL the new maps on the SD card? I wonder if you could. They say that you will have to put the 48 states in the unit and then put Canada and the Provinces on the SD card. What would happen if you just put everything on the SD card?

I recently got some good deals on SD cards at a boxing day sale.

I bought a couple 2GB and a couple 4GB cards because I wasn't sure which would be better in my nuvi 650. I'm looking to keep one kind and return the other.

I understand there are some limitations regarding the # of mp3 files that can be stored on an SD card or read by the GPS unit.

I did a search... nothing obvious and/or recent showed up...

I'm using a StreetPilot c340.

I have no connection with Buy.com except as a customer; I bought two 1 gig micro SD cards from them recently and was satisfied with both the product and the service.

Which Garmin model has voice address input?

If I make my own set of voice files, do the individual sound bytes (wav files) have to be the exact same size as the original, or when I make my new .vpm file will it adjust accordingly and recognize the new lengths of the wavs and just go by the filenames and play the clip no matter if its a second or so longer?

Has anyone experienced a bug where the navigator tell you to go South when it means North? For example, it will say take route 29 South when it means route 29 North. Once I take the correct direction(North) it knows I am on the correct one...

Has anyone got .mp3 files to work for alerts on the Palm Garmin Mobile XT software for a Palm cell phone Treo like the Treo 755p ?

The alert tone works as does a .bmp file. The file names are all exactly the same for the .csv .bmp and .mp3 files for input to POI Loader.

I'd seen this brought up often, so I decided to start it and see how it went.
