Just updated my new-style 260w (which has many of the 2x5 features) and found that firmware Version 4.80 was available.

Supposedly included the new Garmin Ecoroute ... but, unfortunately, even though my Garmin updated to firmware 4.80 ... there was no Ecoroute feature.

Oh well.

I own a Nuvi 200. I downloaded the Starbucks files including logo and mp3. The grey dot shows up fine at each location, but not the logo or the voice announcing the location is coming up. I followed the directions on this site. I am wondering what I did wrong. Thanks

Nuvi 660, downloaded a few books which were in 1-5 file segments. Can and should these be put into a special folder for each book title, or simply al intermingled together? tia

I've just bought a Garmin Edge 705 for my bike - great piece of kit.

I was on a trip this past weekend and notice when I was enroute and click the menu at bottom of map, at the bottom of the menu screen I had a stop and detour button. Was wondering what the detour is used for.

I'm assuming it's to be used if a road is closed but how does it work exactly. Because how would it know how far it needed to re-route you for the detour.

Hi Would someone please tell me how the Ram Mounts for a Nuvi 760 perform as I have had nothing but problems with the Garmin suction mount on the windscreen of my my car the darn thing falls off at will no matter how well I clean the windscreen and after a few nasty frights with clutch,brake etc...

Recently i got a speed cam ticket for $181.50. How to avoid in future?

Does anyone have a problem with the Garmin 400t not being accurate? My Garmin is off about 50 meters and need to know if there is anything i can do to fix this.

I have recently had to upgrade my desktop and laptop computers and neither of them have a serial port. This is not a big deal for the Nuvi260 but I now find that I cannot connect my trusty GPS76S to either system. I use the 76S for fishing trips and it also has the neat feature of accurately correcting the computers system clock which for some reason the Nuvi does not.

Does you take your nav unit along for a bike ride? What handlebar mount do you use?

I have a NUVI 265T and downloaded the POI File RestAreasCombined(Ver.H).csv (142.26 KB) and installed it with no problem.

Now the question: Does the rest area pop up by itself when I get within X number of feet of the rest stop?

I bought my 265wt just before Christmas and have (according to garmin) the latest maps but it doesnt show a major highway in Phoenix as being completed, which is causing me grief as I am new here. Is there anyway to get an update for a specific city/state?

What types of SD cards are compatible with a Nuvi 765T? I have seen SD cards and SDHC cards. The SDHC cards say they are not compatible with a "standard SD reader". In one of the other posts I read about someone using a 8g SDHC card with a Nuvi (880 I think). What is the whole truth?

Is this thing able to take a red light file? I cant find oone for this exact model anywhere, is there reallly a way to red light enable a Quest2? I've got the loader ready, but just no love on a file working. Thanks in advance. I've been searchin' everywhere.

On a recent trip, I wanted to go to a chain restaurant and my nuvi had plenty of locations store. I had trouble finding the one with the shortest detour from my current route. The arrow on the right just seemed confusing. At the time I did not really care whether I had to drive 50 miles down the road, but I did not want to drive 10 miles out of my way.

Everytime I pass a POI I have installed on my 660 the tone alert come on, I turned it off my it still sounds off.. Is there anything else I have to turn off?
