Looking for a poi file for Ufa card lock stations for Western Canada??

I’m considering whether to replace my almost new nuvi 52lm. I have been looking at 58LM or the 2539lmt,2589. The 58 has all the features that I like: school zone speed, lane guidance (for exits) real directions (turn left at the gas station)direct access and 4 square. The 2539 & 2589 have most of those features. My question is the 2539 & 2589 have capacitive screens.

Had used nuvi 3590LM for 2-3 years. Like the unit, particularly its capacitive screen, charmingly sensitive. But the socket and/or power cable have been really annoying for the past year. Whenever I plug in, the unit senses that (as the screen lights up), but just continue to show warnings of no charging power (as the battery icon indicates, not in a charging mode).

I am getting ready to download the latest map to my Garmins. I hope I don't run into any problems.

Just wanted to report that I came back from Iceland yesterday. Took the Garmin 3597 and preloaded it with Iceland maps from http://garmin.openstreetmap.nl/

Worked perfectly! We were able to get around everywhere and every POI we needed from attractions to grocery stores was on the map data.

Just got one of these units for Christmas; anyone else out there have any experience with one?

...what type of voices does everyone use? Do men prefer women voices and women prefer men? Or, does it really matter? How about accents? I was just pondering on this last night and thought I would throw out the question and see what transpires.

Is there a FAQ that covers "Where I've Been" aka Track Logs or Trip Logs?

Everything regarding those logs is working fine on my NuviCam. I've added a 32 GB microSD card on the mapping side and replaced the 4 GB microSD card on the camera side with a 64 GB card.

Has Garmin ever added new voice commands with firmware upgrades?

I've almost gotten to the point where I don't have to touch my NuviCam screen while driving, but I wish there were a few additional voice commands.

I have a new computer with Win 10. I am having to install everything of importance once again. Did go through GE to install most recent maps and all went OK as well as Basecamp. Now, went to install POI loader and the install showed a 2013 version. Is that correct? I had thought I had printed out the steps to get the POIs into my garmin, but not the case.

I would like to purchase the City Navigator® Europe NT: Spain and Portugal map for my Garmin Nuvi 2557LMT but have a number of questions. Also note that I am using Windows 10 and Firefox as my browser and I am relatively new with Garmin products.

1. I would like to have the maps download onto my own Micro SD card. Is this method possible?

my brother just handed me a brandy new nuvicam and asked me to update it.

I charged it, looked at the SDcard (it's an 8 Gb) and of course the 8 Gb internal Memory.

When I look at the internal memory usage it indictes it has
6.03 Gb used and
0.99 Gb Free

The first update wants to put on map
2017.30 map which is 6.92 Gb

So I finally got around to updating my 3490. I noticed (after a LONG time) a firmware update v.8.30 came out which supposedly handles larger maps? Not sure what they mean by that but I noticed that the space left over after updating the maps to 2017.30 was something like 13MB. If they come out with another update I'm assuming it may not fit.

My nuvi 3790T is continuously re-booting due to laptop failure during map update.

Does the NuviCam support mp3 audio alerts?
