Well if Garmin ever let us know in advance, we could have a countdown.

I'd like the Chinese audio files issue to be settled first... Something doesn't sound right with that............

In comparison to last year it should be any day now...

...you will find that the updates came about every 5 months apart. If Garmin holds to this scenario, the next updates will not be available until sometime in March. It could be a couple of weeks or so earlier, but I would say the middle of March will be about the right time.

February 2017 and we will make it to 5 pages.

I'm thinking more like mid February, I agree with Alan that it be named 2018.10. Very confusing numbering system that Garmin uses.

I look forward for the upgrade since my 2017.30 map is inaccurate.
Sometimes a upgraded map version changes routes that worked before.

I recently took two trips that were wrong. Both routes had me wanting me to turn left for my final destination, it should have been a right turn. In fact one of the routes across from a 4 way highway, I could see the final destination on my right and that's where I turned. Both of the routes were visible from the street and not down a long driveway. The first route on the left was also off by more than 1/4 mile in addition to being on the wrong side of the road.

I didn't have issues using the 2017.20 map.

Oh Yeah! A new map update thread just in time for Christmas. Will this thread make it to 10 pages? My guess is the new map update will come sometime around Febru-ugly.

Is it too late for Santa to bring it?

Last update was in August and if they hold to every 4 months it would be January.

My prediction.

They will skip 2018.10 the next map will come out in April it will be 2018.20.

Unless of course 2018.10 comes out in Feb. then that will be my prediction.

No Christmas map.

As in the past ... a Garmin inside source told me to expect the next update on the day they release it, and not a day before. You can take that info to the bank!
