Do you guys know why the Nuvi 200 does not come equip with maps for Canada and Puerto Rico?

I have an i5 with a V8 map which includes Canada and Puerto Rico.

I'm new to the GPS world. Kinda like an analog man in a Digital World.

FYI, an update for my 680 posted today. I think it is for all 6XX series. About 2 minutes to install.

Changes made from version 4.10 to 4.20:

Improved the map drawing speed.
Corrected issue with proximity points in areas with many roads causing the map to draw slower.
Corrected issue where all traffic delays were represented as 1 minute.

Use the web updater.

Are there any GPS units that allow you to download address information alone, not address+coordinates? I have Garmin 330...I enter address information and the GPS finds the coordinates. I want something that lets me download the text information from the PC so I dont have to enter it all manually.

Is this unreasonable or irrational??

I've only had my 660 for a couple days, and today I noticed that it said "I-15 REVERSIBLE" (San Diego). What does this mean?

This thing is great, btw. There's a few things about it that could be really improved, but for the money this thing really performs well- I love it.

I don't want to buy a card too big but I can't find any information on what the biggest size allowed is for the microSD slot on the Rino 520HCx

Doe anyone know if 2GB would work?

Last week I drove to Florida. On the way back around Jacksonville while following the route I've heard an odd message from my Garmin nuvi 350, which was:

"Better route found..."

I followed the new route and it saved me around 30 min -- time which I already lost with 2 stops (I have a 6 year old, who "really has to GO" sometimes).

Just registered and this is my first post. Just got a nuvi 650. So far, recharging the unit via USB. Anyone know how long it takes to charge the unit till its full? Anyway to use the unit while its charging via USB?

does anyone know how to unlock a nuvi 680. one being sold cheap used but is locked. who knows, might have been stolen or lost. Would like to buy if i know i can get it unlocked.

I pre-ordered from MEgaGPS, & it shipped on the 7th. A wee bit later than some of the other dealers, but the $489.99 price3 with free shipping was a deal maker.

Hey All, I have a silly question to ask... What are the small silver looking balls (similar to golf balls) that show up periodically on my Zumo's navigation screen?

Newbie here. When browsing my Garmin's internal files from my PC, I noticed that there is a manual for the 600 in PDF format. This is taking up some space that could be used for other things. Plus, I already downloaded my 650 manual onto my PC. Is there any
problem with deleting the 600 manual?

I just got a Garmin 330 and I want to load addresses from a file without having to enter them directly into the unit. Can I load a POI (csv)file without the coordinates?

From what I can tell, seems like I have to create a POI file with coordinates and load that. Doesn't really make sense to me.

The Illinois Toll Authority just opened the extension of I-355 from I-55 to I-80 in the Chicago SW suburbs. How long will it take Garmin to issue map updates? I ask because there is this new hunk of highway about 5 miles from me that isn't on the map.

Can somebody help me i have a Garmin nuvi 350 i made the mistake and bought it on ebay with no warranty (some yellow form that came in the box). I was putting POI on it when my chair ran over the usb cable and disconnected it from computer, and now when i turn it on it is stuck on loading maps screen.

I'm a new Garmin-ite. I downloaded two POI files (Costco gas stations and RV Dumping sites) to my computer, connected it to my Gamin, and uploaded the files to the Nuvi 660. Now I can't find them on the device. I thought they would show up under "Extras" "Custom POI"s but there's nothing there. Where else would they be?

We are going to be purchasing our 1st gps unit & need some advice on which one to get.

Initially, I was all for the 680. I really like the MSN service - the gas updates, the traffic info. We live in Hampton Roads, VA. I have heard that the updates may be about 20min delayed unless in the DC area. I can't believe that the MSN cable is over $100!! I think that's ridiculous!
