Hey guys, i'm new to this and i have successfully uploaded some customs POI's to my nuvi. My question is where can i go to get the 'red light cameras' for the Chicago area? Thanx for the feedback

I hate to bother ya'll with this, but my Zumo 550 will open csv files without a problem. My question is, will it also open a gpx file along with the csv files??

I download POD Casts to listen to on my nuvi 650. The program I listen to is 30 minutes long. My commute is 15 minutes. So I listen to half on the way to work the other half on the way home. Sometimes when I get in the car to come home the program restarts at the beginning, usually it resumes where it left off. What do I need to do to have it consistently resume where it left off?

I have a Nuvi 680 and loaded a second map called Fishing spots. Anyone know how to delete this map from the unit?

Is their any workaround the 10 route limit such as loading sets of routes/waypoints on a SD card and then importing or activating a set?

I'd like to have more than 10 routes on the 7xx without having to attach to the computer and download a different set from Mapsource.

After updating my c530 with CN NA NT 2008, I then installed it to my PC from (CD drive):\windows\setup .

Browsing the maps on the PC and GPS I noticed they aren't the same. A triple roundabout south of me is on the GPS, but not on the PC version.

You would think they would be the same maps as they came from the same DVD. I think Garmin has a hole in their programming heads.

I am under the impression that there is a setting in the nuvi650 that allows you to change the earphone jack to a line-out setup.

Is that true? and how do you change the settings?

I was wondering, if I load a POI file for a group of points that are all ready in the unit's preloaded database, I will get duplicate POIs for that group. So is there anywhere we can get a list of what POI's are all ready preloaded in our Nuvi's??

I have noticed that some major established restaurants are not inculded in my list of choices, while other insignificant ones are. Does anyone know how this list is populated? Do restaurants pay to get listed? How often is the list updated? My GPSr is new this Christmas - I would think it would be more current.

Anyone had success using their cellphone charger with their GPS unit? It's the same type of plug, so it *SHOULD* work

I have a set of Custom POI’s on my nuvi 750 that appear to work correctly except under one condition. When I select Near – My Current Route then I get several strange displays that include: 1. No matches found 2. When matches are found scrolling changes only the mileage and not the name. Only My Current Route has this problem. The other 3 choices work as expected.

I am using web updater 2.4.1 to update my Nuvi 660 to 4.2. The web updater finds the unit, lists the upgrades available and then downloads the upgrade with the green bar showing progress. Then it says installing.. and an error message comes up "Access Denied". The funny thing is I have used this web updater to update in the past.

In order to free up memory space on the unit, which files are safe to delete.

Does anyone know how to locate the coodinates in the nuvi 200 when you can't see them in the extras/poi.

I loaded a POI to my SD card and now everytime i put on my nuvi 760, it always prompts me if I want to move to an area so if I take my card, it will still function. very annoying since it comes up everytime I put it on. Is there a way to stop this. I don't want to put any of the POI's I downloaded to the internal memory.

Have a Nuvi 360 thinking of adding live traffic with the FM transmitter option.

I live in Toronto. Anyone have any experience with this option? Anywhere in North America. Is it really helpful?

Hi - while this is not one of the 10 great problems the world faces, I would like to avoid using my Treo to find a restaurant in ZagatToGo and then putting the address into my Nuvi 370. Is there any way I can meld Zagat info with restaurant POI's. Does this exist somewhere?

I've tried dropping POIs on it but the unit doesn't find them. Heck, I don't even know what I can do with the SD card. How do I use content on it?

having freeze problems using a 4GB sd card any solutions? Newbie....

I use the StreetPilot c340. My love for GPSr has been extreme and as a result a good friend has purchased the 550. He would like to load some custom POIs I have done some that relate to family residences and business locations as well as some available on this site. All of my files are in CSV with 4 columns. My question is when I convert a GPX file the result is in four columns also.
