I knew this was going to happen. With the new (improved?) update method from Garmin and the lack of the .exe file being available, I've lost European Junction View on my 755t's SD card.

I've had a Nuvi 1450 for several weeks and for the first time I had the opportunity to see Junction View in action. It was totally cool, BUT I don't much care for its implementation.

I am trying to get photos alongside favourites in a GPX file I created and I cant understand why it isnt working
Due to the fact E63 wont show phonebook on the 1490 I have setup my contacts as waypoints and would like to include the photos

here's my situtation. Ever since hooking up the Ecoroute HD I have had nothing but trouble with my 1490T. The HD screwed up the thing so bad that the Eco Challenge and Mileage Calculations became all but useless.

I'm thinking I've seen images of a nuvi with a top line reverse red video custom POI alert.

Can any nuvi do this? My alerts are black rectangles in the top half of the screen with hard to read letters.

If so, I haven't seen this process spelled out so I can learn how to make my 1690 do this.

Got my first moving violation in 20+ years last May. NOT happy. Cop says School Zone lights were on. I don't believe that (3:45pm!) but what does that matter? The city is short on cash and has raised the School Zone speeding fine to $200 + court costs ($49).

Now that I've got the Europe map (microSD) for my Nuvi 260, I got to wondering if I could import that data into MapSource for use on the PC.

Tried the obvious (transfer from GPS) by checking maps on GPS, only to be told "no data".

Any simple way to do this?

Does anyone know how to turn off the "Location-Relevant Offers & Cuoupons" in the nuvi 3790T.

When you stop for a short period of time at a construction zone, red light or are waiting in line for whatever the 'nag' screen pops up.

COULD someone please convert the tim hortons bmp to work on the 765t

My Garmin Nuvi 1300 all of a sudden lost satellite reception and will not regain it. It is not a windshield problem as it has worked in this truck for over a year.
It keeps saying 'loss of satellite reception" or if i turn it on and off "aquireing satellites" but it never does.

Anyone know if this is a simple fix? Is it worth repairing?

My 265 now seems to have a major problem getting sat signals properly. Even when it finally gets a signal it shows me off-route by about 1/2 Km and the speed readout is very erratic. I've reset everything I can think of but, no change. Anyone seen this before ? Any suggestions?

In the waypoint list on my 1490T, all icons show up with the faint image of a camera.

However the icons on the map do match those selected in Mapsource.

Am I missing something?

Got a price alert this morning for the Ecoroute HD. I had the trip price set at $99. I see now that a number of places have it for under $100 and a few more just about $100. Maybe this is the new price point?

I've reset my trip price to $89.

I won't be able to confirm this until I do my next update in about three months, but maybe someone updating to 2011.20 soon who has multiple lifetime numaps subscriptions for their GPS units can check this out.

Just wondering how many of you have sent in a correction to the street name and noticed that Navteq just added the street name on top of what they already have? I recently changed a street name just to find out that the street name has been put in under five different names before but the problem is that the street name has never been called any of the other names before.

Well it's a simple problem really. I am British born and moved to Zimbabwe, Southern Africa for work purposes. I have a Garmin 205W bought in UK with the UK Maps and it's always been great. So I looked on Garmin.com for a supplier in Zimbabwe before I left thinking great I can get the Zim maps there. Low and behold they had a retailer called Feredays.

Had recently (first time) installed 90 POI's from this site in preparation fo a Holiday in the mountains of NC. Mostly Gem Mines and other tourist things, only speed related were speed traps on I-95 & I-4 and Virginia, never went anywhere near any of those areas.

I purchased a Nuvi 3790T at a very good price, thinking that as the newest Nuvi, it would have the same features as my 765T but perhaps a faster processor and a new screen.

I just picked up an update for my 1490. You will need to reload your favorites!
