I am making a trip to England next year and trying to find the most reasonable price for the UK/Ireland maps. I have a nuvii 660 and the best price I can find so far is $90.00. Can anybody help with a more reasonable price? Thanks in advance.
UK-Ireland maps
If you have a Garmin, you may want to try the open source free routable maps based on data from the Open Streets project (some sort of Wikipedia for cartography, as I understand it). They have free maps for most European countries; you can get them as MapSource installer, Mac installer or a .img file to copy directly to your Garmin GPS.

The UK-Ireland maps are at the bottom of the page. I tried the map for Germany this summer quite successfully.
Cheers!

Thanks so much for the input!
Another option
I purchased the UK maps on SD card for my Nuvi 660 for our trip last spring to Scotland. I paid about $70 for them through Amazon. I then sold them on ebay for $83 after returning. Worked great for me.
Looking for something like..?

I had a quick play with this - it's moved on a lot since I last looked at it.
There's not as much detail in it as the Garmin map (my (20 yr old) street's not there, for example). Also, I couldn't do address lookups for one or two addresses that I tried.
Having said that, it plotted a reasonable route when I tested it, and I'm sure it would get you from city to city, or town to town. It just might not get you to an exact address, on a particular street. Also, I wonder how good its one-way street and other similar information is?
