i created point of interest files and icon files and named them same and when i transfer these icon are not showing on maps.I need help to solve this problem if anybody knows how to fix this

Ok folks I have made some progress in getting POIs on to my 595. I have 2 questions:

I have a series of waypoints that I want to make into a POI, see SNIP please. These are all the Gas Stations I have in BC. In order for them to work in the 595 I need to use the larger ICONs. Is there a easy way to "MASS UPDATE" these current ones or do I have to do each one at a time.

Given our current quarantine situation, I have found myself going through some of my older electronic devices. I still have a Garmin Nuvi 350, 360 and 500. Usually I will update the maps on them, but not much more. Today, while checking the time on some devices, I decided that using a GPS might be a great device to use to synchronize clocks around the home.

What does list of es,fi,fr,etc. stand for in Garmin Express,or BaseCamp and can they be deleted.Thanks.

After installing 2021.10 with GE I noticed my hard drive was getting quite full.

I'm not a biker and have no need for one of these but it's sort of surprising that no one has one or at least asked about the new zūmo XT.
It's only mentioned once here and only because it was having a map update issue.

Like many folks who had previously been able to update maps to their Garmin GPS using its built-in memory, the latest maps don't fit on my Garmin Drive 50 LMT. So I figured out I needed to get a Class 10 microSHDC card. I installed a 32GB one, which is the correct maximum size allowed by this model per Garmin, in the correct slot in back of the GPS. I rebooted both the GPS and the PC.

UPDATE

Sometime in December while I was in Mexico I had a problem with my C:/Windows/Temp folder filling up for no reason to the point that my C:/ drive was completely full. Several members tried to assist me in solving this problem. I searched the internet for a possible solution, but nothing worked.

Anyone else notice this? My DriveSmart 65 used to start up on its own in the middle of a longer trip every now and then, but now with the latest update, it starts up on its own even on very short trips. This is now happening every day, instead of every few months.

I took delivery of a 2019 Ford Edge recently and being stuck at home I thought I would see where I could mount my GPS and I have found a really handy place for my 2797 to go.

I have Garmin 3790T.

Using POI loader and loading POI files manually, one can set the alert distance to any number of feet.

Alternatively, I'd like to set the alert distance by adding a distance to the file name and loading the POI files on an express, automatic basis.

For a POI file of Rest Areas, would a file name like this alert 2 miles away?

"Rest Area_10560"

Connecting my Zumo 396 LMT-S to my Sony motorcycle radio via bluetooth to play through the speakers. Not using a smartphone!

Q1.Which bluetooth "radio" setting is best. The BT Audio or BT Phone to listen to GPS turn by turn commands?

Q2.Which of those connections is best to listen to the turn by turn commands and the MP3 tunes simultaneously? (IF possible)

I think I may have an understanding of what I need to do...Let me bring you all up to speed.

I have a ZUMO 595, I have several WAYPOINTS in BC that I want to save to my unit. Like camping spots, or swim holes, I use these when I ADV ride on my motorcycle.

I have another question. How can I get my DriveSmart 55 read a GPX file from the SD card. Let me set some conditions. Macs cannot see the DS 55 or 65 units because Garmin isn't smart enough to Figure out USB-C on Macs. I can use Garmin Express, but not Basecamp to connect to my unit. I also cannot see the the file system, or the SD card in Finder, (Explorer).

My car, '20 Cherokee has a backup camera with the guides and braking. Jeep has the option to have gotten a forward looking "crash avoidance" camera.

How about adding the BC 40 camera to my DS 55, but install it on the Front Plate? I seem to have gotten really sloppy about pulling up to a sign post while parking. I think I'm 6" away, but I'm more like 6' away.

Last 4 days or so I have had a problem on computer that stops pictures from showing up in my email. Also stops connecting to various sites like Facebook.. Small window pops up stating couldn't connect , OXc00000e5. Also HP CEE.exe and express.exe.
I tried to google and one person stated express.exe was in their software for Garmin navigation. They deleted it and their problem was solved.
