Apparently Garmin is again going to release the Europe map before the NA map. The manifest for the 2015.40 Europe map has been uploaded ... still nothing for North America.
I also just saw sussamb post that somewhere else therefore it'll certainly be a few more weeks for the North America update.
On a positive note, CN EU users will be the ones working out the kinks for us

You may have guessed correctly but unless Garmin has changed the location on their servers where the map update is normally loaded to, your out by a couple of weeks at the least.
The map files for 2015.40 NA don't appear to have been loaded yet and it usually takes a least a couple of weeks between loading the manifests and releasing the map update for download.
