MapQuest has just released their android app. It's similar to google maps but offers the advantage that it supports OpenStreetMap.

iPad experiment
Since I got Navigon for my iPhone, and, one can also use it on iPads... I'm getting a little add-on for my Wifi iPad...

iPhone / car mount ideas
I am wondering what those of you out there are using for a car mount. Over the weekend aver much research I purchased the Navigon App for my iPhone 4, one thing I noticed is that having a mount with a "small footprint" would be nice.
Any pictures or ideas woud be great.

WOW what a difference
ok, the general rule of thumb is NOT defrag drives on phones or GPS, but today on my Garminfone i went ahead and did it, and what a MAJOR speed change it had, i am flying through the screens much more responsive.... apps open 200% faster....
JUST FYI for people who may have a Garminfone,
i used Diskeeper to do this with

OK, this is what i would like to do !
would like to find a way to root my Garminfone A50, so that i can place Froyo on it. does anyone have exp. doing this and know of where i could get the needed apps and rom to do this!

The android market is now available via a website on your computer. You can review apps/games then make purchases via the computer and send the app to your phone.
God knows what took Google so long to make this!!

Questions Re: CoPilot Live for Android
The redlight warnings do not work.. the manual says its not available in the USA but I imported some data I use with my garmin and it doesnt alert me on copilot. I have MANY other issues with the program. I sent them to copilot support to HOPE they can help. Here they are and maybe someone on here can help with this:
