With those with iPhones and both 2&5Ghz WiFi, would you
Please do a test for me?
With phone on 5Ghz, walk away till it drops signal and document:
What it does: Does it go to LTE DATA? Or, does it go to
2Ghz WiFi?
Also tell me what WiFi MFG box you are using.

Reason why I ask:

As the title says, Apple has released iOS 13.4.1.

Along with updates to macOS, iPadOS, WatchOS.

Apple released iOS and iPadOS 13.4 on Tuesday, 3/24.

Updated without incident. Mail is still not fixed, at least for me.

New version of BaseCamp for Mac just released.

It appears that Garmin Express can not update itself. This issue is showing up with V6.20.0.0 and macOS 10.15.3

A ticket has been opened at Garmin, they are working on this.

However, given the symptoms of this issue, Mac users will most likely have to go to Garmin and get a new copy of GE until GE can update itself again.

New BaseCamp for macOS V4.8.7, get it while it's fresh.

Garmin Express 6.19.1.0 for Mac is out.

V4.8.6 is fresh and new.

In checking my computer for 32-bit programs I have found that POI Loader for the Macintosh will not work in the new operating system, Catalina.

POI Loader was released in 2013 and is a 32-bit program. Catalina will not run any 32-bit programs.

I have e-mailed Garmin about the problem but I have received no answer yet.

Sine this last update I have an issue on text entry of text only, not emails, where as you enter text the blue text position indicator on its own jumps backward in the message, putting subsequent text in an earlier part of the message.
I’ve seen it do this multiple times in same long message.
Don’t see it in emails or web entry, just text message.
Irritating.

I've been working with Garmin on an unrelated ticket, but the discussion did reveal that Garmin is working on new 64-bit BaseCamp and MapInstall for Mac. The Garmin rep did not know when these would be released.

Hi, I just updated my maps on my Garmin 68. I am now trying to update my POI files but now when I load them to my Garmin the custom POIs are not in alfabetical order. They are listed in random order. Did two chats and one phone call with Garmin and they pretty much told me I was crazy.

My iPhone 6, Wife’s 8+,and iPad all see new iOS version there. On my iPhone I manually did the update, letting Wife’s auto update.
On every device I see the message “Will try to Auto Update tonight”...............

But It never does. The next day it reports it will try to update tonight. You can guess the success rate!

Why display this if it won’t work??

On my iPhone 6 and Wife’s 8+ Compass APP.

Elevation is tied to font size!

Has anyone compared a GPS to iPhone Compass, once elevation is turned on, and if the two are different, who’s correct?

I hadn't really outgrown my older Sysnology NAS DS215j yet.... It supported an expandable Raid1 array, and provided a large area for backing up things on mulitple computer systems... Last month I came across a new DS718+ for a low enough price that I could add 2 new 4TB Reds and a NAS Ram Upgrade for nearly no price whatsoever... So I jumped....

Installed without problems on my 9.7 inch iPad Pro and my IPhone 8+.

As the title says, Apple has released iOS 12.

It installed on my 9.7 inch iPad Pro without problems, and seems to be working well.
