Maybe a limit on fines for red light and speed cameras
What if the red light and speed camera fines were limited to $10, and no points to one's license. If you are pulled over by an officer of the law you would be subject to the full fine normally charged by the state or local government. Who ever is registered for a license plate that is found on the violation is charged.

Did anyone ever test a camera
...by going through a yellow and confirming no ticket? Or perhaps inadvertently test it?
My theory is that if you go through a red light, you know it, because you see the red light. If you see yellow, it was yellow. And from what I understand the cameras don't "arm" themselves until red....

Audio Warning on AVIC-F900BT

According to League City Police Chief Mike Jez, Baytown resident Byron Schirmbeck brought it to the city's attention that the yellow light on I-45 at FM 518 was too short. TxDOT officials confirmed the yellow light was set at four seconds, rather than the state-required 4.7 seconds.

Phoenix / Mesa - US 60 Cameras Eastbound ?
I noticed that loops have been inserted in the road coming off I10 on 60 towards the east during the recent construction.
I wonder if these are going to be camera loops or just traffic sensors.....
Paving is going to take place this month so hopefully US 60 will be to full capacity soon. The traffic is killing me westbound in the AM!

Arizona cameras now on ballot in 9 communities
Seems there may be a groundswell forming in Arizona against Traffic cams.
Banning them is on the November ballot in 9 communities.

Illinois SB2466 Automated Traffic Law
I've been keeping my eye on this, since it can change the way traffic cameras are utilized in Illinois. Senate Bill 2466 seems to be picking up steam, and I'm not sure what the status is currently. If anyone can decipher what any of this means, please enlighten me. Thank you!

My gurlfriend says everyone at work is talking about a new ticket cam in Saginaw at Tittabawasee and Bay Rd...Can anyone here verify? And are there really no cams in Mi??

New Light Cameras going up
Johnson City TN is placing some new cameras up. I heard it on the news the other day. Does anyone need me to get the coordinates or anything to go int the updated POI? Or is their someone living in JC on here that could get them? I'm in Bristol but drive down there sometimes.
Seattle RedLight Camera Illegal
Two Seattle traffic court judges have been dismissing tickets from the RedLight Camera at 45th Street and Union Bay Place (near the University of Washington). This intersection had 5 roads coming together...state law only allows Ticket cameras where 4 roads come together.
