Ticket cameras

In reviewing the traffic camera listing, I notice Pensacola, FL wasn't listed. Am I overlooking this? I know for certain that Pensacola have a number of traffic cameras. I don't know all of them because I don't live there, just frequent there often.

The Beginning Of The End For Speed Cameras In The UK?

Found one the hard way. In Bronx on intersection of Fordham rd and Webster Ave., which prompt me to join this forum. I didn't even know that I was captured because these don't use flash in the daytime like the others in the past.

I noticed yesterday that the speed camera alerts were going off when I exceeded the speed limit ... NOT when I exceeded the value put into the formula (+9 MPH). I wonder why?

The formula I used was Alex Krull's:

As you all know all the speed cameras on the freeways In AZ will be turned off by the end of this weak,,,,HURRRRRAY Thats over 80+ cameras turned off. They didn't make enough money so the Governor did not renew redflexs contrac.

My Garmin loaded with the latest camera file issues a warning as I approach the intersection of College St. NE and Martin Way E. in Lacey, Washington but I have yet to see the camera here. This location appears to have been erroneously added. Maybe someone mistook a traffic light sensor for the red light camera.

Rental car companies like Avis and Hertz are giving personal customer data to a company called American Traffic Solutions, which uses this information to charge your credit card if your rental is busted by one of their traffic cameras.

I was in Montclair, CA and the ticket cameras seem to have been removed. And good riddance.

Well the summer construction season has arrived in the Chicago area and they are starting to use speed cameras in the freeway construction areas, that started 7/1/10 and there is no leniency 1 mile over and you get sent a ticket. Not sure what the costs are but I hear the first one is about $375 and the second is $1000 so beware in the construction areas.

I have a few more weeks before I can get the red light POI files, but I'd like to contribute now if possible.

I have DL'd the red light POI program from Garmin on a trial basis, but have found it to not be very up to date. I live in Toledo, OH and just yesterday I passed 2 cameras/radar's that weren't on Garmins program.

Ticket cameras in trouble in Santa Ana, CA

SANTA ANA – A recent court decision might have dealt a serious blow against red-light camera citations in the county, but law enforcement agencies say don't rule out the cameras yet.

How can you tell which direction a speed camera photographs? Do speed cameras (both at intersections and otherwise) usually photograph the side of the street they're on? It's hard to visually tell, I saw a speed camera today that looks like it's pointed toward the other side of the street but the flash looking additions seem to point toward the same side of the street.
