Probably due to Tiger concentrating on golf instead of extracurricular activities. It is good to see Tiger return to success.

One of the best Masters tournaments I've watched in many years. It's good to see a major win for Tiger after his long drought.

Considering the fact that just two years ago he said he'd never be able to play golf again it's mind boggling. 4 back surgeries and a lot of work. I was hoping either Tiger Woods or Phil Mickelson would win. Phil didn't do all that badly but nowhere near good enough to be in the top.
Interesting note regarding Phil. He learned to play golf by mirroring his right handed father which meant doing it left handed. He's known as "Lefty" and has spent his entire career playing left handed but he's naturally right handed.

Bravo to the people running the 2019 Masters who had the foresight to reschedule the tee-off of the final round three or so hours early so they could get the round in on Sunday afternoon and get everyone off the golf course before the arrival of severe weather, expected around 4 pm. I know bumps to an earlier start for weather have been done in other golf tournaments, but I believe it was a first for Augusta, which has often stuck with tradition for tradition's sake. Putting safety first and the integrity of the tournament results second, ahead of tradition... Good Decision... Well Done Y'All!

President Donald Trump was so impressed with Tiger Woods amazing performance at The Masters - he's giving the golfer the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
The Medal is the highest award that can be awarded to a civilian in the United States - previous recipients include Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Pope John Paul II, Bob Hope and others.
According to the White House, the Medal "recognizes those individuals who have made 'an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors.'"
In his announcement tweet), President Trump said, "Spoke to @TigerWoods to congratulate him on the great victory he had in yesterday’s @TheMasters, & to inform him that because of his incredible Success & Comeback in Sports (Golf) and, more importantly, LIFE, I will be presenting him with the PRESIDENTIAL MEDAL OF FREEDOM!"
President Trump and Tiger have been friends for years. Tiger recently golfed with the President back in February at Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter, Florida.
Tiger's victory wasn't just impressive on its own - but is being hailed as one of the greatest professional comebacks in all of professional sports considering he hadn't won a Major in over 10 years.
Politicians and Diapers must be changed often for the exact same reason...

After his Masters victory, I think he's safe for this year at least! ...Especially when we consider that most "pros" rarely win even the "B" events in their careers.
We tend to have our opinions skewed by the media when we basically see/hear only about the top 10 or 20 ....maybe ..... when there are thousands of competitive pros who keep trying to make even the top 100! They are excellent golfers but comparatively not "stars" for a myriad of reasons.
Non golfers often make the mistake that golf is a game against another player(s) ..... when it is simply a game against the course ONLY.... can't hide behind offense or defense between competitors like most sports. ..... Boy, I would love to be able to check a guy while he's draining another 15 footer for the 3rd time
