Bye bye, Flash
"Saying goodbye to Flash in Chrome" was the message that greeted me this morning when I opened the Chrome browser. The article went on to say that by the end of 2020 Adobe will phase out Flash altogether. Chrome will phase it out sometime before then.

see if I can describe this correctly / process improvement
I think that a lot is broken, such as healthcare.
Say my son has some rash and he's 5. Go to a specialist.
There are no doctors and there are no plans that they would have one look at him.
See a nurse. Says to use Aveeno. Charge is $479.
At any holiday party in my wife's bff group there are always 3-4 nurses. Any one of them could have looked, and said, use Aveeno.

Keeping The Windmill Alive - Your Last Trip? – December 2019
In danger of losing your windmill?
Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).
Anything to keep your windmill alive.

more and more (dash cams)
I think we should just have dash cams always rolling and then don't think about them. Today, maybe it's late Nov., raining, and windy. But everyone was angry driving in parking lots, 100% straight goods, for no reason. I saw a woman throw up her arms at the gym, I guess because she was backing out and another woman went to her car parked next to her?

This week we're recognizing, Alleghany!
Alleghany has been a member of POI Factory for nearly 13 years!
This week he updated his PA Cemeteries files adding 21 new ones and changing or adding some Also Known As. I'm often intrigued when something relatively stationary, like a cemetery, has multiple names.
Thanks for continuing to keep us up-to-date on the cemetery files!

Happy Veterans Day
Happy Veterans Day to all of my fellow Vets. Thanks to all who have served, whether you served in the Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard, or Army. (And, for the WWII crowd, the Merchant Marines.) We have served a great country; let us never forget the ones who served before us, the ones serving now, and the ones that will serve in the future.

Pearl Harbor Day
On December 7, 1941, the Japanese did a sneak attack on the United States armed forces in Pearl Harbor, HI. This led the United States into declaring war on Japan and entered the country into World War II. Today is a day to remember and honor the many armed forces personnel and citizens who were killed in this attack.
